I DON'T KNOW.......... They often DO run credit reports for merchant accounts.

  Incorporating from India will be a breeze, however it would be a different story when you start approaching banks. For some reason banks are starting to reject Indians who apply Via net for post. They see your country as high risk now, unfortunately a few minority has destroyed India reputation.
  
  To bypass banking, maybe it would be best to use a third part merchant provider, as long as your business works with their module.

Hi Macmani,
I am from India. My CPA helped me with a us bank account & company formation, It cost me 250$ for the bank account, THERE ARE NO ISSUES with INDIA. Pm/skype me if you want me to refer you too.

There are lots of issues for anyone outside the US who wants to open a bank account here. Be very careful and don't give anybody any money you can't afford to lose if you are told they can do it for you.

It would be rare that a bank would open an account unless someone has a physical presence in the US, and if word got out that one was doing it, they would be flooded with people trying to open accounts.

First: Don't listen to clowns and scammers , unfortunately this is one of most desired subjects to them.

Second: you have to know that a major component of incorporation in US is obtaining a US business bank account... AND THERE'S NO BANK IN US THAT WILL GIVE YOU AN ACCOUNT ONLINE.. YOU HAVE TO PHYSICALLY VISIT U.S. to get a U.S. bank account!

Third: It will cost you money to get established this way, if you're starting out, you better find some other cheap legal alternatives until you can afford the costs.

Not entirely true.
I have no experience but I know it can be done without visiting.
