Seek Advise for Virtual Assistance

Hello,

Does any body know use virtual assistant for answering customer calls via telephone (Toll Free)? Does your sales increase by using this services?

    The system I used to use was people call the published number, this went straight to an answer phone. The message left was converted to an MP3 file and forwarded to me as an email attachment. This cost me £4.80 per month and I called the customers back at my leisure.

    I now use a telephone answering service where I have briefed the telephonists on how I wish the callers to be processed. This saves me lot of time repeating the same messages over and over again. More importantly around 25% of calls previously did not leave a message, this problem has now been eradicated.

    All potential customers now talk to a physical person, the rubbish or sales related calls get immediately discarded and most callers are referred to the answer to their query already contained on the website.

    This costs me £60 per month but the cost difference between the two options is worth paying 4 times over for me. HTH

    Sorry, forgot to mention, this is not a free call either. If people want the service they will pay for the call. If the market in question is saturated populate your website with superior content to that of your competitors to ensure it is your phone that is ringing and not theirs.
