Average Squeezepage Conversions

Hi Warriors,

I am testing my squeeze page and wondered of 10k visitors, how many opt-ins indicates the squeezepage is successful? Also, I am attempting to test the traffic sources to figure out which is best. Any suggestions? Please advise.

Thanks

everything over 40% opt-in rate can be counted as successful by IMO

and regarding traffic source - that totally depends on your niche..what is your niche that you are planning to test your squeeze page?

I shoot for around 30-40% but I am happy with 25%

make sure you testing everything, I have a squeeze page I am running a test on now, all i changed was one word. Only changing one word made a huge difference one is converting at 17% the other at 25% that just by changing on word.

I also have tests running for each traffic source, seeing which traffic sources produce the best traffic and the highest conversion rate for each traffic source.

For example I have the same squeeze page test running setup to test a bunch of different traffic sources. One traffic source is getting 25% conversions and only around 50 visitors a day

another is getting 100 visits a day but is only converting at 5% so what I am going to do now is try creating a totally different squeeze page for that specific traffic source to see if I can raise it.

    moral of the story test...test...test...

You want to push that conversion rate as high as possible. Anything less than 25% I'd say needs serious improvement in either the layout of the page or the sources of traffic. If you get over 50% of your visitors to opt in then that's incredible...but always strive to boost that CR up up and up. Like the others like to say, test test test.

I think you can be happy with 50%. But like the guys above say you should be testing all the time. The tiniest details can put that up by 10%. Ultimately though your traffic source is going to affect the conversions. Keep it targeted and conversions will rise.

I always aim for 100% conversions and so should you.

If you come up with a figure like 40% then as soon as you hit that figure, you are content with that and you stop trying to improve things. The fact is a squeeze page is not as good as it can be until it reaches a 100% optin rate. Although that figure is unlikely (maybe even impossible), it is always what you should be striving towards and you should never stop testing until you have a squeeze page that converts at 100%.

Out of 100 visitors, if you can get 25-40 people to opt in, that is a great number.

No one can get 100% conversions. Not even the best gurus out there.

Not quite the point of his post He was saying by striving for 100% you will always be changing little things, testing them and see how they work for conversions. Thus making your squeeze page better and better.

(Sure you can get 100% 1 visitor, 1 optin, take site down! Make product claiming amazing new method for 100% optin rate!)

Here is another thing I want to mention.

You can always change the wording in your title of description to test conversions out.

You can make it shorter or longer.

I just did that with my squeeze page and the number of subscribers has gone up a little from previous days.

We get between 43% and 52% depending on which website and product it is or if we needed to tweak the squeeze page. We have had 22% but that was probably more to do with the fact the particular product/offer wasn't right (you don't always get it right!)

I shoot for 45 to 50 percent conversation rates; however, I start with finding a control with that is converting at 20 to 30 percent and I build I up from there. We call this Micro Macro start small and grow bigger and bigger.

    Hope this help,

    Willie
