"As soon as I can". Why not today? or 2 days from now? It's not about the right information, but rather about learning the ropes of the business and while guides are helpful, you have to get started, fail and fail again... until you reach success..

The website flipping business is extremely diversified.. so what's your angle?

Here are just a couple of angles you can use:

    - Buy website cheaply, renovate them, improve their earnings and sell for more money
    - Turn key websites for newbies who don't know where to begin
    - Your own websites that either have traffic or revenue
    - Being a website broker

Whatever you choose to do, you'd better start doing it now. That's the only way to really learn rather than just wait for the perfect, right business plan.

As a rule of thumb, always sell your money site 10-12 times your monthly revenue.

Thank you guys for the heads up.I will like to have some clarifications in these areas:
    1. Do a brand new website have to be earning revenue before it can be sold?

I asked that because I have seen pieces of information that kind puts building the site se traffic at a higher rating than the amount of money it makes

Generally yes, websites will only sell if they have income....at least a few months worth. Obviously a site will sell more if it brings in more income...

I used to make around $3K a month only selling websites with no traffic and no revenue. And there are several people that are doing it right now on Flippa. With that said, such websites usually sell for $100 - $300, so you have to keep making them and they can't be all the same.

Thanks for the heads up but can you say more on the possibility of selling sites with no traffic and income

        1. What am I go for and am I to avoid?

        2. What are the likely reasons why a buyer could buy a website without traffic

Go to Flippa and browse through listings and you will get all the answers that you're looking for. Make a list of what you like and what works and try to make sites that are similar(not copy).

A site that earns revenue sells for more than one that does not :-).

When your selling sites does the support accounts make a difference to the sales price? can you sell an attached Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, Pinterest? If those were all set up to be sold with the site would it make a difference?

I'd be interested in hearing the answer to the above question as well. I'm guessing you sell the website and as well transfer the administration of the the above social pages? If i've read correct you cannot sell something like a fb fanpage?

My best advice is to create a website then sell it, don't bother buying one keeping it and "flipping" it. Keep in mind buyers do not want SEO traffic either. It's hard to maintain and once you start you can't stop. So focus on getting traffic from article marketing, blog commenting, and maybe PPC and don't be afraid to tell the buyer how you got this traffic so they can have success as well.

I did extremely well flipping sites following this method

It is possible to sell websites without any income or traffic, but like imperetse mentioned, the max potential each can go is only $200 on the average in flippa.

You will need make your site physically appealing. Appearance matters a lot since it is pretty much the only value u can add for a zero traffic site. You can outsource someone to write unique quality content for your sites, rather than just sell plr content to further boost the value.

People buy these kind of sites because they see a lot of income potential in the site, thus a couple of hundred dollars is a fairly cheap investment to start off. They just need to focus on getting traffic, instead of spending time setting up the site.

Adsense sites always sell best for me on flippa.

Id take a look round the site, see what is selling, see what is creating lots of interest and take things from there.
