Lets say im selling a copywriting course that i feel is geared towards people who have at least a few years of experience.

How would I go about targeting them in order to sell to them. Meaning how would i be able to build a list of people with some skill vs people who are complete noobs or even the advanced?

Hope this question makes sense.

so lets use the internet marketing niche -- where would one go to find "advanced marketers"?? Just an example please, im sure thee WF is a good place for noobs.

But lets say I want to sell a product that actually discusses real direct marketing/psychology and more..ie the ugly stuff -- Where would one look to find customers who oppose "shiny object" product such as those pushed in the WF??

Well, one thing you could do is look for products that already exist and target those people. You could then approach those product vendors and pay to do a solo mailing to their list or set up some special commissions deal for them to promote your product to their list.

Buyer leads are the best leads so if you can find people with complimentary
products that target the same market, that's going to be a great start.

Google copywriting forums and sign up. Look at the language they speak in said forums, and, speak it.

Just change the word copywriting for whatever niche you targeting.
