posting a free service ?

I don't want to start off posting the wrong way, so I could use a little advice so I don't violate any rules. I have read the rules but still not quite sure on a couple things.

I would like to post a free service ( to review iOS apps for WF users ). I am not clear what part of the forum I should use to do this, or if this is even allowed . I would also like to post my website URL as well because if it is a deemed good app, it will be added it to my website. Clicking on the website URL link will not generate an affiliate link .... it just goes to the website. The site itself does have affiliate links but not the home page.

Please let me know how I should proceed. thanks so much HTD

You can't promote anything in this forum except for warriors classified ads folder or warrior special offer. Yo may also put that in your signature.

Promoting a service, even a free one, is limited to (AFAIK) Warrior Special Offers, Warrior Classifieds or Warriors for Hire. You might also be able to structure an acceptable off for the JV section.

As for linking to your website, you can do that in your sig. It must be your website, or one that you control (such as Flippa auctions, your own Kindle books on Amazon, etc.). Template pages furnished by companies for affiliates to use are not allowed, nor are stealth redirects to affiliate links. From what you've described, you should be in the clear...

You could add a page to your site describing your free service and add that link to your sig, I believe.

You can do that in your signature or in the Classified section or as a WSO. You can't do that in the discussion threads. No urls, no self promo whether it is a free offer or not.

You can promote your app in your Signature. Just put it in your signature, people who find interest they will click and visit your site.

You should actually post quite a bit, if you want your signature to be one source of your promotion. However, keep in mind that people over here only read the posts with some good value in them and those are type of postings who one wants to know who the post owner and their signature is. Plus, violating the guidelines can end you up in having a banned account. Best of luck.

I just wanna tell you that most of the links in the signature are trash and/or a trap to make you pay!
