When would you buy Flippa first page upgrade?

I have a listing on Flippa

I don't normally buy the front page upgrade but have 12 hours left on my auction and have a few bids but not close to the amount I want

When would you pay for the first page upgrade and is it worth it?

Only if I were selling a high-dollar website. More expensive sites need all the publicity that they can get since a lot of Flippa buyers are just looking for 'steals'

Depends on the site really. A site that's not going to bring in much money may not be worth it to you. I normally do that the last two days or the last 24 hrs. But if it's a startup site with no traffic or revenue, you might just get further in the hole with an upgrade.

Thanks for the advice.

Its a 3 year old site with traffic and income proof. Has a PR1

Bidding is currently at $200 but BIN is $1500 so hope it will go higher

10 hours to go

What do you reckon?

Front page or is it too late?

  It sold for $830 in the end! Was happy with the sale and the buyer paid straight away.
  
  I also had another auction this week where I choose not to purchase a featured listing and site sold at $365 so there is definatly an advantage for getting those front page views even if just for a few hours
