1) Fear
2) envy
3) amazement

Majority of sales letters are created to inspire envy and amazement.
You see some guy earning millions in 2-3 months or you see another earning xxx$ per day, it is normal to feel envy on his success. Why is he better than you? What techniques he applies to get to this? Look, he started just like me or even worst, no money no fame... and look at him now.

Amazement is when the seller is presenting the records or success he got doing this and that. Also you will notice not only the amount of money but also the time in which he got there. He will tell you 200$/day in 3 days from now and you are thinking...Jesus I have to wait just 3 days and pay the WSO and that is that.
The most important thing in sale letters is FEAR. It is the fear of getting fatter, fear of losing the opportunity, fear that someone else will take it instead of you, fear that the price will go up and you will regret.
This usually comes after you are already decided on the product so you already know you want it but you don't know if you should wait a little (for reviews) or just buy it. The seller is basically forcing you to buy it because it shows you there are 20 peaces at that price or in 3 hours the price will go up.

These things are so easy and effective to implement that are almost magical.
