I suspect you're probably making the single commonest mistake that beginning marketers make, and perhaps the single commonest reason for their failures to make any money: directly or indirectly you're trying to teach people something you don't yourself know how to do. I mean this without criticism, but I think this type of site is really not an optimal strategy for you.

Alexa is perfectly write! If you are keen to get into that niche, why not just start a blog where you talk about your experiences while learning IM? You're not offering to teach, you are just sharing your experiences and building yourself as a brand in doing so.

You could always have ads on there to generate some income.

To begin with - look for Forums and Blogs in your Niche and interact with discussions, by leaving constructive help and advice if you find a subject being discussed which you feel you know something about and can comment on intelligently.

traffic generation takes lots of time or effort and I find not all the internet gurus do all of them but practices two or three in combination. There looks to be a lot of tricks in the trade. It takes lot of hardwork and pain before you gain. So better be with a matured coach who will take you to your success line.

I found a site called IBO Toolbox, where you can post free ads, text or banner. It has a huge member base, plus they get a lot of traffic from search engines. It is very professional, they even have weekly live training webinars.

Yes put a signature in your profile on this forum and every forum that you are active in.

Also you can use fb comments on pages to drive some free targeted traffic to your site if you set it up correctly..

I know but our prices for cheap may be totally out of line with each other.
If you search well you can find some decent prices for banner ads here

Now your saying laser targeted. Umm my other method would be to scrape fb for ids and target those ids for fb ads.

My idea of cheap is under 100 dollars and with laser targeted traffic that is about all I can suggest.

Maybe you should consider changing the laser targeted for now might be a little less costly in the end.

Okay then another couple of suggestions.
shoemoney on the right of the website is a place called marketplace, 75 bucks to advertise in that spot that is a rotator.

Your AR company. Like Getresponse sells leads for as low as .32 cents.

Free Traffic - Make Youtube videos and link to your site.
Targeted Traffic- Join Forums related to you niche and put a signature.
This two methods is very good if you do not have a good budget.

Others-
Classified Sites Traffic
Facebook Fan Page.
Article Marketing.

There's no such thing as free traffic. Unless you consider your time free and most people value their time more than anything else (At least I do).

If you wanted laser targeted, non junk traffic you have to pay for it. The question is do you want it right now? Then buy advertising or paid traffic. If you want it later spend 14 hours a day at your computer for months.

There are several methods you can use when promoting your site to get targeted traffic. Some are...

- Forums
- Blog commenting
- Guest posting
- Writing articles
- SEO
- Creating newsletters
- Social Bookmarking
- Blogging
- Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest)

The trick is to pick 2 methods you believe you would enjoy doing then stick to only those methods. Once you see results move to to 2 new methods.

After you have tried every method discard the ones that are not producing results - and focus on the ones that are.

My experience is that you don't.

Getting traffic today is a full-time business of providing your potential customers with quality, original content, which can take many months to generate any real traffic for your site, PPC ads -- or a combination of both.

Both require substantial investments of time, talent and money.

Again, this is based on the premise you are offering a quality product or service that is in demand.

I recently bought a WSO product to get laser targeted visitors to build a subscribers list FAST using free and very low cost methods and I personally tried out the methods getting results within hours. The product is a pdf straight to the point and NO B.S report which when you go through it will have you up and running within the hour. . The product mainly talks about building your list, I have since applied the recommended sources to bring me traffic to review pages of affiliate products and got many sales. - PPC (like google adwords or facebook)
- Video Marketing (especially via YouTube)
- Yahoo! Answers
- do SEO ( on and off page)
- submit articles about topic/page
- Squidoo and Hubpages
- Blog commenting
- Forum posting
- Craigslist
- email marketing
- Ad Swaps / Solo Ads - paid traffi

Man hit it on the head. Squdoo, hub, wordpress.org, blogger have all made there mark in the seo world. Ride off there coat tails and use them to get traffic. Trust me after many years I have found I can get more traffic and better rankings faster by posting on these sites instead of my own.
