Help Needed With WordPress Theme

Hi quys,

I have been trying to upload a new wordpress theme and use it in the blog below but simply don't know how because the files are too many and I don't how and where to upload it using the FILE MANAGER feature of cpanel area of my hosting.

Useful tips on how to do it will be appreciated!!!!!!!!

    Wordpress themes live in the wp-content\themes folder under the directory you installed Wordpress.

    I'm assuming you are using the CPanel file manager. All you need to do to navigate to the themes folder is to click on the folder icons for: public_html, wp-content, and then themes. That will get you to the correct location.

    Then under that folder, select the create new folder option and call it the name of your theme.

    Then navigate to that new folder and use the upload files option to upload each of your themes file.

    However, that's a pretty poor upload manager. I prefer dreamhosts which allows you to upload complete zip files and unpacks them into their correct directories.

    If I was you, I'd find a decent FTP program (I use smartFTP) and use that to do file transfers. It'll be much simpler to do your transfer. SmartFTP has a trial period of use available.
