Product Placement For Kindle Books?

I'm in the process of writing a fiction ebook for Kindle. Does anyone know of any sites where advertisers buy product placement for a Kindle book? I know the concept is pretty popular in entertainment/shows/movies - but I cannot seem to find anything specific for Kindle books.

Any Kindle authors already used this as a way of boosting their Kindle income?

    Do you know if its something that can even be done.

    Advertising watchdogs are pretty strict with certain things on TV and in films and stuff. Maybe its even worse for books and might not even be legal.
