DONE - Affiliate Review Site Plugins

Hi Everyone!

I am in the process of trying to create my first affiliate product review site for Amazon, Commission Junction, Clickbank and so on. I just got the developers version of Pro Review Theme for Xmas. I have it installed however being new to the review website game I'm not sure what plugins I need as there seems to be a whole bunch of them that can be found when you search for a plugin inside of WordPress.

Can anyone tell me what plugins they use or give me the name of some good plugins regardless of whether they are free or paid as I don't mind investing a little bit of money after all it takes money to make money. I would like a few plugins for Amazon, Clickbank, SEO, Article Spinning or that will automatically bring YouTube videos into my reviews.

Any advice or help with plugins that people use for their affiliate review sites would be greatly appreciated.

    A few essential (well, in my opinion at least) plug-ins to help with indexing, SEO, sharing etc are below. I use them as "standard":

    Google XML Sitemap: Help with indexing etc.
    WordPress › Google XML Sitemaps « WordPress Plugins

    All in one SEO pack: SEO settings etc:
    WordPress › All in One SEO Pack « WordPress Plugins

    Shareaholic: Social networking share buttons etc:
    WordPress › Shareaholic | share buttons & related posts « WordPress Plugins

    CopyLink: If anyone copies text from one of your posts, it includes a link to the source when pasted anywhere:
    WordPress › CopyLink « WordPress Plugins

    For Amzon and similar I prefer to use their code in posts and/or in sidebars via widgets as opposed to use of a plug-in.

    Expect you'll be spoilt for choice for Amazon/YouTube plug-ins and I;m sure other posters will make suggestions for you.

    Hi Nathan,

    There are certainly a ton of choices out there and besides some of the essentials like ones mentioned in the previous response, it then comes down to preference. One thing I like to do if I come across a Wordpress site where I see a cool looking plugin or theme that I don't know about, I paste the URL into this site below and it tells you what the site is using.

    WordPress Theme Detector - Free online tool to find a site´s theme

    I have no idea who's site it is but I like using it.

    So if you go to Clickbank and find a product you are interested in promoting, you can do a Google search for existing review sites for that product and then see which plugins they are using.

    For example the site below is a review site and you can do a search on it and see what plugins they are using and decide which you want to use as well.

    Family Survival System Review - Pros/Cons - Can It Really Help? <<< this is not my site BTW I'm just listing it as an example. I have no idea who owns it...
