How Much Money Do You Make?

Ok, so I am not really asking how much you make. I am curious as to whether people make real money from IM. I make a fairly decent amount offline. I found myself in here by accident and kind of like it.

So, I am researching. I see a lot of "make a million now" type things and I have met a lot of coaches selling success when they are very broke. So, I'm not trying to insult anyone but I am asking the very real question of is it really possible to make $15,000 from one launch? I know it doesn't happen over night. I'm sure it takes time to master. But I am curious and considering learning IM as a sideline in addition to my main business. I have products to market and am pondering....

    A lot more than I was making this time last year. A lot less than I'll be making this time next year.

    Yes, it's possible, and yes, there are a lot doing very well, but as in any game, you got 20% of the players producing 80% of the results, and most are in fact broke.

    If you're looking to do a product launch, your success will depend on several factors, such as:
    • Market research
    • Converting sales funnel
    • Quality of traffic to your funnel (note I said to your funnel, not to your offer)

    There's a lot to learn and a lot of moving pieces. It takes time, actual hard work, and testing to master.

    Anything less would be considered a fail, no?

    And by launch, I mean a proper launch. Not a "throw together a WSO and hope some affiliates will promote it for me" launch.

    Promote the other "big guys" in your niche, get on their radar and they will return the favour.

    But you better make sure your copy sells or they will "hit it and quit it" really fast.

      totally agree you can make a living from a single launch!! Trust me, but you must have a very good product!!

    Depends on your product, your marketing, your affiliates, and your reputation. Some have made $1M and $2M and probably more from a product launch. Jeff Walker is one.

    So the average, ordinary WSO seller ... some/many of them make nothing. A few make thousands.

      Liz, product launches is just one way to make sales. You don't need to do a product launch to make great money.

      You can never go wrong learning how to sell online or offline. That is one skill that will always be in demand and recession proof.

        I sell pretty decently offline due to my alluring personality, lol. I'm kidding. But I do convert well by speaking to people. Guess I need to learn to do it online. Thanks!

        Yes..... If you learn to actually sell than you will never be poor. Recession or not there are groups of people who are looking for solutions to their problems.

        Learn to identify them, what their problems are..... and sell them a solution.

        That solution could be something you create or something you "middle man".

        When I was in college. one of my business professors presented a mock scenerio to see how his students (of which I was one) would respond.

        The scenerio......


        We were running an 18 wheeler truck through Alaska in the dead of winter with a trailer full of window airconditioner units when the truck breaks down in a small village.

        We had no money and the only way to raise the money to buy the parts needed to fix the truck was to sell all the airconditioners - in the dead of an Alaskan winter.

        How do we do it?
        People came up with all sorts of ways...... most of which were akin to:

        Offer "buy 1 get 1".... Offer free installation..... Sell at steep discount"


        What I did (and how I won that contest)

        I was selling these A/C units in winter, to ALASKAN villagers.

        I knew one of their problems was not a need for airconditioning.

        What did they need?...... HEATING.

        With a truckload of A/Cs....... one might think I was screwed. Nope.

        I sold all the AC units as heaters with FREE installation.

        Anyone who bought had me show up and install an A/C backwards in their window. This turned an A/C into a heater since the HEAT those units expell out the back OUTSIDE...... is now being expelled INSIDE because the back becomes the front.

        The point is:

        I found a market.... found a need..... figured out to a way to use what I had to create a SOLUTION.

        Learn to do that = never be POOR.

    It's possible most don't do it and a few do. It's like some guy/gal write a first book and they are considered by the 99% a looser but they make a fortune, and 99% who are considered "Winners" make nothing. Life is life. Try it and see what happens.

    Hey liz,

    Just like the success you made offline you already do know it takes learning curve on how to make income stream online as well.

    Research what niche you would like to get into and study the marketplace. Find a solution for the market's problems and practice your offline business etiquettes and charisma online. Perhaps a youtube channel and facebook is a good start to become instant authority in your traffic's eyes

    Next is to build a list of of you followers by providing a bribe or lead magnet to giveaway for your traffic and graduate them into becoming a subscriber by getting their emails.

    Congratulations! You now can market to them for life or until they feel you are a spammer lol.

    So build your relationship, pick a niche and market and build your list alongside a powerful blog site

    If also you need a fast track into the game and save yourself the headache of too much mistakes and info overload and potentially developing the dreaded shiny object syndrome, you should grab a mentor.

    Check for his testimonials and income proof and just reverse engineer and copy what works for that mentor

    Online income stream can be as little or as life changing as you would like and believe it to be

    However we do much better then we did in a full paying crappy 9 to 5 er

    I think that should be your goal, as soon as you are earning more than you job, quit the crappy thing!

    why would you want to make someone else rich.

      Celente, I was being genuine. I don't have a 9 - 5 as I run a business in the creative industry and I enjoy what I do, so I am not making anyone else rich - I am building a future for myself and those around me. I have spent the best part of 6 hours on this forum today, reading and trying to educate myself. Sorry if you were offended by the question but I was interested to know whether this would work for me. Have a great day.

        liz whoops, Sorry if I offended, that was not my intention. Sometimes I am pretty straight up, so do not take that the wrong way. Just trying to help.

        Liz as a help make sure you are not here for 6 hours reading, you should be here 1 hour reading and the other 5 hours, working and implementing stuff, you will be suprised how much you get done.

        And just reading is not going to make you money, so I am just trying to help you a little. You should be making videos, doing articles, commenting, getting traffic, doing optin pages, building your list and nuturing them. See how that works. That is where I would spend your 6 hours tomorrow, as these are money getting activiites.

I will be wiser with my time. Infact, I have a face to face meeting with someone who is interested in one of my products over the next few days. We shall see how that goes....

    I'm fulltime affiliate marketer and I earn a lot.
    You don't necessarily need a product, you need to know how to market them. How to get traffic/buyers etc. This is something that takes time.

    Everyone can put together an ebook and sell it online, but would you find instant buyers without proper marketing? I don't think so...

    There is a project I'm working on at the moment - and God willing - when I launch before christmas time I will show you exactly how to make £15k on one launch, I'll do it right here on the WarriorForum. So, just to be clear: it is very doable.

    I don't believe in over-night success though - quality information products take more than 24 hours to build and master ready for sale. A quality launch has a build-up period which brings about excitement and anticipation of the launch. - Like a magic trick: there is always more going on than meets the eye - more work goes into a launch than people realise, but, if you do it right it pays off massively.

    Microsoft xbox and Apple are incredible at launching products - and hence they get insane ques outside their stores days/weeks before the product is launched - the buzz they create is just as powerful as the technology!!
