Optimist or Pessimist - You can't...

Be in the middle. The middle is just rock-solid mediocrity.

Most folks fall flat into that category...middle.

Because if you're optimist, you're most likely, ***nuts***.

Sometimes nutty people go past the finish line.

If you're a pessimist, well good luck with that.

    You can't really get anywhere unless you stop seeing the situation as it is, and start seeing it for what it can be

    • Well, more than that, going through adversity, even doubting yourself, and listening to your hard working family bleat on, also drives you a little nuts.

      They considered Edison's thousands of failed experiments, to be insane acts, and brought him in front of a judge to prove it.

      But he also would not listen to anyone negative, and changed the world.

      I bet after doing that, the individuals who dragged him in front of the judge, went back to their mediocre lives, and probably eventually got electricity installed and got a few of those insane light bulbs, lol.

      If you follow the herd, you will chew your cud in company, but that is all you are doing to do.

  • i don't know i'm just crazy ..

    look i got on the plane to Las vegas 14 month ago with a few thousand dollars in the bank and no idea what i was going to do ..you have to have a balance of both and can't be dominated by either ..

    (and no im not talking about the force in star wars )

    in any case i practice a secret philosophy called "cover your ass "it incorporates both optimism and pessimism ..and when i don't practice it ..i get bit on the ass hard ..

  • An idea well presentable should always preach to the choir.
  • Very unique, yet pretty true take. I believe the middle is where most fall because they give up or they become complacent. Many make bad decisions that they don't even know they are making.

    If you want to truly live a unique life, you have to become a master at making decisions and we make hundreds a day, so there's plenty of practice.
