Mistakes are inevitable. Humans always makes mistakes. But what differentiates us are acknowledging our mistakes and learning from them. In life it is inevitable that you make mistakes, for the betterment of you, you must acknowledge your mistakes and learn from it.
Happy Sunday.

Well said. : ) Here's one of my favourite quotations:

Something that I also learned for Watson ― that is included in the full quotation ― is that many People think that "failure" is the enemy of success: Something that holds them back ... When, actually, it's part of the process of succeeding. It's even recommended that a Person double their rate of "failure".

Why? The more you fail (or make mistakes), the more you learn. And, the more you learn, the more you succeed. Essentially you're doubling your rate of "success"/progress.

Welcome to The Forum, by the way.

Yeah it's also important to learn from ― and correct ― "general"/personal mistakes in Life.

    • If you are in the learning or growing or figuring out stage mistakes are just part of the process

McDonald's and fast food companies have an rnd section that figures out how to set the equipment up in a location to serve food as fast as possible. The mistakes are made there to save lots of time from being wasted at franchises

There are little mistakes that are part of life and then there are critical errors that can put you out of business or cause permanent physical injury. Or get you in legal trouble.

But you have to be in business to make a mistake that puts you out of business.

Microsoft was built on releasing the pre beta version of it operating system. Which would be critical business mistakes in other businesses

Oh boy where do I start?

We had a certain member in the past who never acknowledged their obvious mistakes. I do wish they learned from that, though

  • A wise person learns from their own mistakes. A genius learns from the mistakes of others.

      Nice saying.
      : )

Where possible, I think it's best to learn from other Peoples' mistakes ... However I think it depends on the context. There are some situations ― including "personal"/Life challenges ― where it's better to learn the lesson(s) personally.

Also, there are some pursuits (etc.) where a Person has to learn them for themselves. For example a Person learning Copywriting has to make some "mistakes" so they can improve their craft. (Which is part of what I posted originally about doubling "failure".)

  • "Learn from the past mistakes to avoid the future ones." I saw this quotation at the back of a bus. Protect your future by learning from every single mistake you make.

    • So you learned that you should have got to the bus stop a bit earlier?
