I've been watching the ec.tv channel on Sky tv lately and I was just wondering if any has bought The Psychology of Achievement by Brian Tracey lately ???

At the moment it's being sold at £55.95 + £2.95 for pp . (£ = British pound)

I did a research and found out that this program has been around for a good while, and I am just wondering if it's exactly the same one the old one,

Has anyone got the both version of it ? the old one and the new one ?
if so
what is the difference or improvements on the new one ?

if the new one is the same as the old one then I can probably get a copy of a friend (or buy it at a very reasonable price of him lol ) then spending nearly £60 for it.

Can anyone list the contents of it ?,
like the Headings of each subject he teaches,

When I did a research about it, it was in 2 parts as a while package;
The Psychology of Achievement
The Psychology of Success

and I did listen a few samples of the old one and it was Not Brian Tracy talking on the samples, not sure who it was but it definetely Not Brian Tracy !

so has the new one got him on it or some-one else did the audio for him ?

is the new one the same as above that covers both parts ?
how many CD s are there in total in the package ?
How many hours in total is the program ?

when they are showing the intro about the program on the tv, they are not giving enough information about it.
I did send an e-mail to the ec channel about a month ago and asked all about these questions and got no answer whatsoever,

also what other programs by Brain Tracy would you reccomend as a follow up ?

I would really apreaciate it if any of you can help me out on this.

Thanks in advance.

  • As I remember, the two titles you mention are different programs. I've owned both in the past. I especially loved The Psychology of Achievement and have had two or three copies. I've listened to it literally hundreds of times. It's in my top three personal development courses of all times.

I wouldn't recommend getting the course unless it it Tracy himself as getting the real thing is easy enough. Just check out eBay or Amazon. Below are details for both courses and are not affiliate links.

    PSYCHOLOGY OF ACHIEVEMENT
The Psychology of Success by Brian Tracy

thanks, I've listened a few samples of it, but as I mentioned in my post, it wasn't Brian Tracy who is reading it, it's not his voice !, not sure who is reading the course, but it's definetely not Brain Tracy himself.
so that's why I was wondering about the latest one that is being advertised all the time on ec.tv on sky is actualy being done by Brian Tracy himself. do you know much about that ?
  • he also wrote 'Getting Rich Your Own Way'

  • Maximum Achievement is an awesome book from Brian Tracy. Reading and applying what I learned from it has changed my life! I believe this book is based on his Psychology Of Achievement course.

    • I have a copy of The Psychology of Achievement that I bought from Amazon.com a few years ago. It's definitely Tracy reading it, but I'm not sure if this is a new version or the old version.

Also, his book "Maximum Achievement" is basically the book version of The Psychology of Achievement. It covers all the same information and principles.

  • Hello, Flash:

I have been a Brian Tracy fan for many years and because of that, last year I began promoting and selling Brian Tracy products.

Here is a link to one of my recent web biz blog posts specifically about Tracy's The New Psychology of Acievement: The New Psychology of Achievement Revisited

This blog post gives a little more insight into the program, plus it provides links to a previous blog post with more detail, as well as a direct link to Tracy's product information page. On the product information page, he highlights how and why the NEW program is different from the original program.

Hope this helps to answer some of your questions.

    • thank you, I've checked out your website (very nice website by the way ), and I can see that you are a big a fan of B.T, I've also noticed that , the New one is being sold at $49.95 (Audio) which I assume would be a download version, I live in the UK, and its being sold at £59.95 and there is £28 pounds the diffence in price, I do'nt know why we always have to pay more money for things that is always cheaper elsewhere, but anyhow, after a good research I still think it's well woth the money even if it's 60 quid. Thanks again. Happy new year ! ...

  • Brian's Psychology of Achievement course is dangerously life-changing.

I listened to it after 'Personal Power II'. And they're 2 entirely different fields of ways-of-achievement.

2 combined = rapid success that you would've not otherwise gotten listening to just one of them.

I still prefer 'Psy. of Achievement' over PPII.

  • Thank you all for all your answers, I did a lot more research about B.T and I think he has some amazing products, I'm definetely gonna get the "The New Psychology of Achievement " as it seems the old one is out of date, I've also visited his website and found lots of others, the thing is; he has many Goal achieving and Success programs, and it seems a little confusing which one to get First and next as a follow up Programs.

The main idea obviously is Personal development, so I can learn my way to health and Wealth, this also means I have more time than money at the moment, so I'm hoping to learn alot of the warriorforums as well as personal development programs.

Happy new year to you all !
hope it brings us all wealth - health - happiness.

  • Flash, I'm not familiar with the specific program you mentioned, but I do want to add another enthusiastic vote for the book Maximum Achievement.

It's a really super-duper, easy to read, easy to understand, easy to apply, mind-expanding discussion of many helpful self-improvement topics and you really can't go wrong with it. Great introduction if you are new to this kind of thing, great review and reinforcement and new distinctions if you have already explored these ideas. You'll never regret reading it and having it on your shelf to refer to again and again or loan to friends.

I would start there, then go on Amazon and read reviews of his other products to help decide what to get next.
  • I've noticed Brians voice sounds different from past audio products to today's products, quite a noticable difference actually. I recorded an audio tape from a video of 21 secrets of self made millionares done in the early 90's. (listened to it at least a thousand times!) But there is a huge difference from what he sounded like then to what he sounds like today. Unless someone has a video and it's obviously not him presenting.
