Many stupidly believe that there is a hidden secret to happiness and success when the most basic truth is that there isn't one, other than a plain and simply love for our fellow man.

I do not admire any of the alleged gurus mentioned in this thread, except for their capacity to market themselves to needy people. After all, I am a marketer and have been for the last twenty years.

I am also, as you are, simply their customer.

Brian Tracy is someone I admired a few years back when I was a little younger. Not the biggest fan of his anymore but The Physcology of Achievement program was and still a program I recommend to all.

Tim Ferriss, via his book and then blog, is probably responsible for my most recent big-mindset shift. But maybe he's not really a guru... I still admire his lifestyle.
