  • The biggest risk in life is when you take no risks at all.
  • I stepped out a couple of years ago when I was challenged to go sky diving. Not so much a drama for most, however I fell out of a hay stack as a kid and carried a "BIG" fear of heights with me for years.

After the first 5 jumped out of the plane at 14,000 feet, it was my turn. Awesome free fall - incredible feeling and I wondered what all the fear fuss I made was about.

Even when we had a chute failure, I wasn't scared . . . and lived to tell the story.

I realized FEAR is just False Expectations Appearing Real.

    Who's for a sky dive?

P.S. My wife still doesn't like me talking about it - must take her for a sky dive - NOT!

That's brilliant, Steve. You didn't step out of your comfort zone, you literally jumped out of it from 14,000 feet. (Haha.)

      Thanks for the inspiration.
  • Well, what do you believe is a REAL challenge?

I like to push myself to take risks on a regular basis. The more we do, the more we can do!

    • Any challenge is completely subjective. If it pushes you as a person and individual, then it's worth doing - no matter how small and insignificant that might be to another.

  • Fear the things you should and you will fear not what you shouldn't.

We all have survival codes that we must adhere to. Break the wrong code and you're set for a catastrophic countdown. If you fear just for the heck of it you feed fear and it just grows. Then again if common logic is espoused how will you be any different? Will you make a change on that basis?
  • I once decided to speak to as many people as possible. That day i spoke to exactly 20 different people, and i started all the conversations with this opener: "One question..Batman, Spiderman or Superman??"

I got a myriad of different answers!
