Best self improvement forums on the web?

I love checking in here for new posts and discussions and thought that with all the people that drop by maybe we can build up a list of the better Self Improvement, persona growth and development, success websites, forums and resources on the net?

I'd personally love to know what some of the better forums are for discussion?

    • I don't post much on forums (not enough time!) but I enjoy reading these at times:

Self Improvement from SelfGrowth.com (click on "community" and "discussions" I think)

BraveHeart Women (for women only, sorry . . .)

and (as mentioned by someone else) Personal Development for Smart People - Steve Pavlina

I'm surprised there aren't more good self improvement forums out there. I've spent quite a bit of time trying to find one I really connect with, but am still searching. Would be happy to see more suggestions here. Great question!

  • Thanks for these - I was just looking for self development forums to join and all roads seemed to lead back to the WF!

  • I agree with you Mrs S, I've been hanging around the WF more lately and have gotten more from the Mind Warrior forum (and others) than in any of the other forums I am a part of.

    Great people here, thanks.

  • For law of Attraction and Self Improvement the best forum, undoubtly is,

    Forum:
Law of Attraction Forum - Index

    Site:
What is Law of Attraction And How To Apply it, INSTANTLY?

    Good Day!!!

    • Law of Attraction is a great thing!!! I'm not saying it's working for me, I just started using it. But life is just way more better when you're focused on the good things, happy thoughts and when you stop and see what you got already!
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Well it depends what you are looking for...

The WF is a great place for all of us as there is just so much information but if you are looking to become an authority in the niche then you will need to be active in other forums as well to build up not only backlinks but a following. Although the WF is massive there is also a huge world outside of it and if you really want to become an authority you will need to spend time going to all of them and being active in them!

However if you are just looking for the information then here is probably your best bet!

    Hope that helps someone
  • bump...

Hey all, I'm pretty new to this whole self help thing but it seems like it could be a useful and positive thing for me. I don't really know where to start though. As of now the most interesting resource I've seen is aHa! which was recommended to me by a friend. From what I've gathered, it's a once-a-month live online training session on self-mastery. I really like what they write about on their site (ahanetwork.us).
  • I haven't joined any self-improvement forums but I enjoy staying in this section of WF. What members post and comment here are really enough for me and I learn new things each day that is why I never fail to stop by here. I love reading motivation/ inspirational posts because it helps me keep a positive attitude/ outlook.

  • I just heard about a brand NEW for built Specifically for Warrior Forum Members of this section called

    Mind Warrior Forum ;-)

    Mind Warrior Forum - home

It started because I was looking for a forum to sell my NON-IM (make money online) products, and no one knew of a place that was like this.

    So one was created!

  • The best forum is a click away but here you are to make it work for you. It might, one day.

  • LifeGuider's Self Improvement Forum is also a great forum worth visiting as well. Lot of great discussions going on there.
  • Good discussion guys, but l think that the mods prefer that we don't list other forums here, especially one, that we can't mention.

And it isn't GandorfsCandle Forum, eventhough Dobbie has been known to lurk around there, regularly.

  • we must improve ourself until the end.
  • For me the best has been Abraham hicks

I found her after going thru lots of gurus and self improvement info

Now i just go to youtube and listen to Abraham

and My life has changed in amazing ways

  • I don't really go to forums for self-improvement. I usually will watch youtube videos of brendon burchard, Grant cardone with young hustlers or even Eric Thomas with his TGIMs.

I also will listen to a few podcasts while I'm driving. I like to be mobile while I'm learning.

  • NeuroSkillzClub.com is a great skill and self-development forum with active members that have great discussions and useful responses.

  • I think these days most people are hanging around Facebook or LinkedIn groups for discussions.

    • Possibly, but the question related to self-improvement, not personal degradation. :-)
    • And the obvious question is why?

I know that it is ....what word am l trying to find....weird, that total strangers are wishing you happy birthday, and you have 1000 total strangers, (some most likely, oiling AK-47's, and watching chick-with-gun's video's) as friends/total strangers/f.......weird, but having to scroll through hundreds of mindless dribble daily posts to find yours, while walking into brick walls is off-putting.

  • D and T; Positively Positive is a blog but has comments open and offers you rich self help advice. Multiple posts daily. Engaging authors and community members. Could be helpful buddy.
