Advice from Stephen Hawking

Was just looking around the internet and found three tips from Stephen Hawking that are quite good. He is a pretty smart guy, so maybe we should all think about the advice he has offered.

1) Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet.

2) Never give up work. Work gives you meaning and purpose and life is empty without it

3) If you are lucky enough to find love, remember it is there and don't throw it away.

  • These are great tips Dukky. Hawkings is one of the brilliant intelligent men of all time, and pretty wise too. I'd take these words to heart.
  • He is a very smart guy, an we are lucky to have a guy like him, who can fight disease his whole life and still teach for over 30 years, make breakthroughs in the field of science, and find love and make a family. If there was advice out there I'd want to take, it would be from him.

  • Maybe Alfiano, you should take Stephens first piece of advice, and remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet!

  • If anyone hasn't seen Into the Universe with Stephen Hawking yet on the discovery channel, you definitely have to give it a look.
  • Stephen Hawkins brilliant man...
    1) Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. ....It is a natural thing for man to look to the heavens, it is as if it was embedded into our DNA. We are fascinated with the stars and the vast reaches of the Universe.

    2) Never give up work. Work gives you meaning and purpose and life is empty without it...Agree, and I might add giving back to others increases your ethics and universal returned blessings. This is the true intent of humanities purpose.

    3) If you are lucky enough to find love, remember it is there and don't throw it away....Love is the ultimate universal power. It has been written into every inspiring book. It is a code passed from one generation to another. It is the gift that when passed along, empowers others. "Loving those people you cannot abide by, is the ultimate gift. It empowers YOU and Humbles them."

    Cheers
