Define Total Freedom

In my opinion, total freedom would be:
  • the freedom to perceive (the world isn't as solid as it looks)
    what keeps us stuck at one place are all our habits and routines
  • be fully aware of my total being and surrounding, without holding my self-image with its habit of self-reflection. (inner silence)

What is your definition of Total Freedom?

    You'll always be a slave to something very subtle.
  • Total Freedom for me means nothing holding me back. Ability to be, do and have whatever I want.
  • I always hear that I'll never be satisfied and no money amount will be enough. My response is always towards complete freedom. To me, complete freedom comes when you have the resources (money AND time AND energy) to do WHATEVER you want, at ANYTIME you want. I hope to be in the situation where I can wake up and decide to travel across the world at 9:30am!

    • Yeah you're right. I you want to travel with your physical body you'll gonna need some cash.
  • In order to be free in this day and age you need financial freedom.
    I define financial freedom as not needing to worry about money. Money shouldn’t be a dominating force in making decisions in your personal or professional life.
    A good way to view financial freedom is another type of freedom most people in the Western world enjoy: freedom from hunger. As a human being, I need to eat to survive. But the relative abundance of food in my life has meant hunger is never a driving force in my decisions. If food were scarce, getting enough to eat would probably occupy all of my thoughts.
    Being financially free, is the same as being free from hunger. Money will always play a role in your life. But you are free when it no longer becomes the dominating influence on your goals.
  • Total freedom is how you can do things that no one is controlling and dictating you. You have the total freedom to speak, act and live with the way you want.
