My business is doing well largely because of the help and advice I have received from a lot of people, be it from books, mentors or friends.

Who has influenced you?

  • In terms of influencing my business...

    Grandfather - Serial entrepreneur

    Father - Serial entrepreneur

Both were filled with more stories, anecdotes, and business lessons that if adhered to...could make ANYBODY a successful entrepreneur. Becoming successful in business is actually not difficult. Most businesses revolve around very basic core concepts. The thing that separates the winners from losers is normally very soft skills like motivation, dedication, perseverence, belief in yourself, attitude.

Think about all the entrepreneurs and CEOs that start and run businesses in all kinds of different sectors and industries. Clearly they weren't experts at one particular niche, they just understand the core concepts that drive a good business and understand all the aforementioned soft skills.

  • Wow, that's a long list. If I had to pick just one, and the one who most influenced my business itself, I would have to go way back to Lee Iacocca. His autobiography still stands out in my mind as an amazing, motivational and instructive lesson in "business."
  • I don't think a single individual has influenced me I think the way of life I'm able to live has been my biggest motivator.
  • I would have to add W. Clement Stone to the list. He hasn't been mentioned yet, but his writings were influential to me at a very early age. Considering how life has progressed, I guess that makes him one of the most influential motivational writers in my life.

  • Annie Rose - She has taught me lessons in life philosophy. She has taught me about generosity. She has taught me the value of focus. She taught me turning your entire world upside down to chase a dream is noble and worthwhile.

She taught me so many great lessons and continues to do so every day.

It is amazing how a simple lady 20 years younger than me can have such wisdom.

Makes me glad to call her my wife!!
  • Some excellent names so far, Warriors.

Here's a man who's had a tremendous impact on me: Bob Proctor.

  • This might sound weird, but myself, I've learned a lot of things by myself, by giving myself time to think and reflect, though I won't be too arrogant as to say I was responsible for my success.
There are many key people in my life, I've learned from friends as well as enemies, though one "known" person that did influence me was Neil Fiore
  • My parents/Family have motivated me! They always used to say that all this online money making is scams, now they seemed to have shut up!
