How do you dive fully into a new venture?

Getting my feet wet never seemed to work for me. It's all or nothing once I've performed my due diligence and am ready to roll.

    Yeah I'm more of an all or nothing type person as well...but I think most entrepreneurs are. When they vision that venture, nothing and nobody can get in the way of getting immersed in the venture and trying to build out the vision into something successfull.

      something to make money. It has to be a passion.

      I've never done anything by just getting my feet wet. And I never take
      long to make up my mind. It's all about the chase and the reward. It's
      addictive!

    I burn the bridge so that I will never look back. It works for me but I normally take it easy - one step at a time. Test, change, test again...
  • I throw myself head first into my projects and see any failing projects as a stepping stone to success.
  • I'm a researcher by trade, and an idealist by temperament. It has to be a passion for me, or I fail to see the deeper value of the project, namely, my unique contribution to the world. As for jumping in head first, nah. I research it extensively, give it a few trials--while maintaining my current wealth-building projects, so as not to lose my shirt. (Diversification is key to sound investment. The same is true with investments of time and money to new projects.) Then pursue a relentless system of Continuous Improvement until the project can stand on its own, which is the goal.
  • When I'm excited about a new project, I find it hard to do the "grunt" work and prepare for the project without diving in. I actually have the opposite problem that you have.

  • I jump right in with something I'm passionate about and making most sense to me and I'll do whatever necessary to make it works..so far so good!

    • Personally , I am very scared even though it might make me more money . Used to be a real big procastinator .Even when i know i got work i somehow find myself on youtube , facebook ,wasting time !

      Sometimes , I ask myself if I really do want to make some money or not because i seem to find plenty of time for entertainment but very little for work

      I guess it kinda of like the past . In school , I used to be the guy that pulls an all nighter and gets the first grade .When i try to get the work done early , I seem to get lower grades .So I always pile on the pressure and leave it to the last minute because it used to work for me .

      It stopped working for me in my final year in university and since then, i learnt to do things differently

      We all know that does not work in internet marketing

      Anyways,the short answer is :I don't dive in straight away but I get there in the end
