Believe And Act

Do you believe you'll prosper? You need to. Because you can prosper, you can achieve it. Believe it. But faith without action is nothing, it's dead, and it doesn't work. So if you really want to prosper, believe and act for it.

One way of acting is to give service. When you serve, you get paid. When you plant, you harvest. When you give, you'll receive. That's the law of the universe. Sometimes, reward is delayed, but keep on serving, because you will be rewarded in the right time in some other way. You need to increase your service to increase your income.

  • Faith without action is dead, that is biblical and that is very true, if you dream something you need to work in order to achieve it.
  • Sometimes it's really hard to take that road because there will be many naysayers, and many difficult obstacles. But once you conquer these hardships. You will realize that it was all worth it
  • That sounds positive too much knowledge or just knowing does not pay you have to put the knowledge to work.
  • I think it goes even deeper then believing. You now deep inside that you are already prosperous and you just need to 'activate' it in you if it's not manifesting in your life. It will happen in the now anyway so dont sweat it

    • Yes....I think knowing is the correct term. By knowing that you are prosperous, you already accept it as the truth and everything else will fall into place....
  • Thanks for the great in spiring words. I see people everyday who pray for things to happen but never get any results. I think its because they don't apply action to their prayers. Some people expect things are going to just show up in your life. I have several friends that read self help books, buy tapes on self improvement but
    never apply any action to get the things they want . The easiest way to get yourself
    to act is to just do it. Sure it can be even scary to step out of your comfort zone,
    but we all have to take baby steps. When I have to try something new i like it to
    developing a new habit or exercising a new muscle. The more you work at it the easier it becomes.

      But I highly recommend that everyone puts in place a daily personal development/spiritual program that ignites their inner motivation everyday to get what they want out of life.

      This approach has always helped me.

    if you have big faith , you would take MASSIVE ACTION until you reach your goal

    Everyone one acts according to the real image they see deep down in heart about what would happen if they took action

    Most people don't expect positive things so they avoid taking the steps at almost all cost

    If you are not currently taking action towards your goals , surround yourself for success stories and make a simple you can do it right now in 10 minutes or less .

  • Yes, I agree. It even goes beyond believing. It takes more than that. You have to act on it, you have to manifest what you believe. Believing is much more appreciated when people see it from you so do it and show them. It says what you believe.

  • When you have a clear picture painted in your head for what you want to do, I believe that is without a doubt, the prime factor for taking successful steps. I learned from Brian Tracy that if you want to increase your income that you should increase your service. It's very true and always worth it in the end. You just have to stay faithful.

      And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests who bear the ark of the LORD, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, [that] the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off, the waters that come down from upstream, and they shall stand as a heap."

      So it was, when the people set out from their camp to cross over the Jordan, with the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people, and as those who bore the ark came to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests who bore the ark dipped in the edge of the water (for the Jordan overflows all its banks during the whole time of harvest), that the waters which came down from upstream stood [still, and] rose in a heap very far away at Adam, the city that [is] beside Zaretan. So the waters that went down into the Sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, failed, [and] were cut off; and the people crossed over opposite Jericho.

      Then the priests who bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan; and all Israel crossed over on dry ground, until all the people had crossed completely over the Jordan.

      The priests had to step into the raging river on faith, believing that the waters would recede. They were told that they would but they had to believe it in order to act on the instructions.

      Weather you believe the story or not the priests did.
  • Great thoughts. It reminds me of Zig Ziglar's story of having to prime the pump. It takes a lot of work to get the first few drops of water coming, yet once the start flowing it takes less and less effort to get a stream of water continuously flowing. I guess the challenge is to have enough staying power to last until those first few drops appear.
  • There's a great book that focuses on how to gain faith and believe that we can achieve our plans - It's "Think and grow rich" - I'm sure you guys have at least heard of it.

    Still the best book I've read on how to improve mindset and approach things positively.
  • Right, this peanut behind this nose of mine agrees with everything you all said about faith needs action! So how do I start? I'm a probie! a newbie as green as grass with a HUGE scar across my face from being ripped off $500 in fact! now that is a lot of money in any country! I basically have 2 hours a day, between 8-10pm to work. what do I do?

    Please help with any advice possible!

    • I am looking for someone willing to help me make it online. I am teachable and willing to do what it takes to succeed! At this stage, I do not know what it is that I want to do online. All I know is, that I have to do something! I can not sit where I am next year this time!

  • True faith inspires action. Faith is a high spiritual energy. It has power. The power of knowing that something is true that is not physically evident. I feel that say that faith without action is dead is like saying that faith has not the power to inspire the actions it needs to happen to come true.

  • IMO, It's also need proper knowledge and strategy. Because even though you work hard and put actions to your chosen career but without the knowledge you'll gonna fall. So choose the industry what you are capable of..

  • Acting according to your belief and plans is very important in succeeding. Believing that you will prosper is not enough you have to do something to achieve it.
  • Believe and act, IMO 'it' really is as simple as that, it's just that we often act without truly believing or really believe without acting properly.
