Hi All,

Just joined the forum. Most of the stuff I learned when just starting out came from this very forum itself.

If you really want to stop being lazy and if you want to turn your life around and achieve all your dreams then read on.

Quick introduction, Back in 2007 I was an alcoholic with no job and only $90 in total savings before I discovered it was possible to make money off the Internet. I will write my whole story down soon and hopefully it will motivate a lot of people.

The biggest obstacles I faced trying to make it online were my own mental demons. I used to waste time on social networking sites and I was lazy as hell. Initially I just couldn't find the drive to be productive each day. I used to read a lot of motivational books and all that stuff but I just couldn't take any action.

I worked very hard on the mental aspect of things and once I got that part of my life settled things really started moving forward and rapidly at that. Within no time at all I was making a more than decent amount online.

A lot of books that you read only tell you to take action. What they don't tell you is how to take action. I spent a lot of time but I did eventually learn how to do this and I credit my sucess online to learning how to take action.

I would like to share all these techniques. Some of them are unconventional but they work and they will really boost your productivity.I don't mind writing a pdf and giving it away free to everybody but I just wanted to know if you'll guys are interested in something like this.

Let me know. Drop me a line. Do add your email address/contact cause I may not be able to get back to you on the forum.

Hope to hear from you'll.

Matthew.

Follow up - I penned down one of the techniques I use and have made it available here I will constantly keep on sharing all the techniques I used to to change my life around.

  • Matthew,Those are some very inspiring words, and to take it another step forward;until we (people) stop and take a serious look at ourselves, as to who we really are and quit blaming others. We will forever remain in the same old rut.
A better life awaits anyone that's willing to step out on the spiritual waters of living. It's no different than when Peter walked on water in the bible. As Jesus told him,and i say to each of you when you step out, please don't give into doubt.
  • good stuff Matt.. the mental power is the beginning of all action. Cool.

  • Glad you found out how to take action, most motivational books are good to read and gives you boast, but real success lie in doing something about what you read and taking action...
  • Ok, Spaxmax...

As you started the thread, make the first move.

Share just ONE of those unconventional techniques...
Then I will share one of mine
  • Great read... I got a big problem with laziness. Sucks when I really want to get things done
  • Hi Spaxmax,

I really will love to learn from you, your techniques to get into action

    • I found and easy way to please my wife and quickly get done what ever she asks of me. I just stop doing whatever I'm doing and do the task she has for me. This usually takes less than a few minutes and it's done, she's happy and doesn't have to nag and remind me. And I don't have something else to be concerned about.

Since I also have a tendency toward laziness and procrastination, or always looking for short cuts, this little technique has helped me move more quickly to action because I can immediately get the feedback response of the satisfaction of starting and finishing a project.
  • hi Matthew
very exited and love your story
  • Hi Matthew, this sounds amazing and I can't wait for you to tell us more!
    Kind Regards
    Helen
  • Glad to hear you turned your life around, very inspiring. Would love to know more. And I would love to hear how you figured out *how* to take action! I'll PM you my email address.
  • Interested in this, thanks.
  • Nice post Matthew. I find it fascinating how we (I!) can be so non-lazy and disciplined in certain areas of life (health) and absolutely totally lazy in others! In areas which I've consciously aligned with my core values I hold myself to high standards - not all areas though...yet
I feel grateful to spend my time with busy professionals whose body's do not yet reflect the success they've created in their career - while we illicit their strategies for career success and make them applicable to fat loss success, I get to learn The most valuable insights...
    Cheers again
  • this is interesting! I'm moody as hell and sometimes can be the uber-laziest person at my worst day....I'm curious to hear from you
  • Hi Max,

quite an great inspirational story and good to hear you are back to the CORRECT pathway to success.

My story almost same like yours, spend many times in social networking sites such as FACEBOOK, TWITTER , and mostly like surfing the Internet for nothing, playing online games , wasting a bit of money , save a lot of money working, see tons of ebook , and a lot of internet business strategy without making a move by just dreaming and just see hype going around by selling rehashed stuff.

I was wondering, instead of just see, did I apply whatever they have said ? I didn't. I just look myself , I'm still poor and I didn't make a cent, what should I do ? With every motivational quotes and inspirational words keep on floating to my head from the well-known trusted marketers , I TAKE ACTION. Nobody will stop me , as well as everyone too. So, I think when there is ACTION, you are definitely a happy man in learning ~ !

Simply voice out ~~ just like others.
  • Thanks for the share
  • to be lazy is not that bad i think
  • Well done on turning your life around!
  • Amazing post Spaxmax! Very inspirational! Thanks a lot!

Yes, I agree. Anything you wanna do or accomplish must start with your mental decision resulting into action. And yeah, unconventional techniques are effective I believe

  • I would love to read your report. Looking forward to see it soon

  • [sings] Oh yes. I'm the Great Procrastinator![/sings]

Great story! I look forward to hearing more of it.
  • I think you have enough responses here to decide for yourself if people want to know more...

My only suggestion would be to make it unique and offer something personal that can't already be found in the thousands of "self improvement" books that are already out there.

I have had issues with laziness and procrastination as well, for a long long time.

I finally found my motivation in the strangest of places... in a fitness ebook. I am now more focused and motivated than I have been for at least a decade and am enjoying the results every day.
  • I'm looking forward to read your story here
