What If?

Had some thoughts on perception and persistence this evening, thought I would share.

What if you were only one chance meeting away from having the breakthrough that your business needs?

What if you gave up right before that chance meeting and it never happened?

What if a great idea popped into your mind, and you ignored it because you told yourself that it would never work?

What if someone else acted on that same great idea and made a lot of money from it?

Yeah, it's frustrating when you keep trying and it seems as if nothing works for you, BUT...what if you are almost there and just don't know it yet?

What if you make a resolve to never give up until something DOES work? What if you assume something will eventually work?

So maybe you find 50 things that don't work - but you find one that does - and that one works very well. Then all you needed was to try 51.

I think I am on #51 right now!

Keep going

Hope I didn't ramble on too much!

  • That's a lot of what if. Seriously no one know what if we do or don't do
    something.

But if we do it, there will be results. If we don't nothing will happen.
It's about keep going and never give up. It may be one more day, week, month or year. When you keep plowing, one day, you will reap the harvest.

    • What if your title hadn't caught my attention and I hadn't stopped by for a read? I would have missed the opportunity to meet you (virtually) and learn what you had in mind to share with us.

    • LOL! Good one
  • Yes, definitely never give up, you never know when success is right around the corner. The only person who can prevent you from succeeding is your self. When in doubt, keep going and don't let any negative thoughts hold you back.
  • This reminds me of the Napoleon Hill story entitled 3 feet from Gold in the book, Think and Grow Rich.

Essentially Its about a miner who went digging for gold and gave up when the treasure they were seeking was just 3 feet away from where they stopped digging.

The key then is to be consistent and persistent. Nothing beats failure but trying again.
