Learn From Your Mistakes!

Morning Everyone!

Hope everyone is pumped up with the weekend peeking around the corner. October is a big birthday month for us - my mom's birthday was on the 8th, my husband's was yesterday, my father-in-law is on the 21st, and the twins double birthday on the 28th. Add in Halloween and pumpkin patch fun, and well, this month fills up quick!

Anyway, I thought I'd post a message about making mistakes. Often times it's easy to reflect on passed mistakes and see them as total wastes of time.

Sometimes to really learn things the right way, it's important to go through the pain of making mistakes. Don't look at the time you've spent on a project that ends up having tons of mistakes as a "waste" because really, those are valuable learning moments. Making mistakes can give you the big picture -- and in many cases that's when I personally have those "aha" moments.

So again, don't beat yourself up over mistakes that you've made... as long as you learn from them and move on.

Have a great day everyone.
Elizabeth

Good article. I also learned this lesson when I passed trough something difficult that changed my life in many ways, so it is good for us to learn from mistakes, not only our mistakes.

this is true that one should always learn from his mistake's not seat back and cry on his mistake's.

According to me- Learn from your mistake's and apply your learning's for your future goals and you will meet success a day

The one who makes no mistakes, has never pushed themselves to archive more! Well when you stay in your comfort zone, than you will take no risk and may make no mistakes.

But the ones who make a big different to other peoples lives are the ones who made a lot of mistakes, and guess what? They learned from own experiences what works and what does not work, and they will find new ways how things even can work better!

Ok, the ones who never make mistakes may have a huge big ego and ignore their mistakes and hang it on someone else, or that poor soul lives in fear and fears to make mistakes by living a life of fear of mistakes.

Again, everyone must learn through mistakes, and as long as they don't kill you it only can make you stronger.

It's actually easy to say learn from mistakes. But when it happen, can someone really look past the mistakes.

I had a client who's stuck in those mistakes he made. He constantly beat himself up about the mistakes he made and complain about the time he wasted.

He will require a complete shift to free himself of this entanglement.

I think often times the hardest part about making mistakes is "freeing" yourself from those mistakes and looking forward. Hopefully your client finds a way to rejuvenate his energy and utilize that energy towards trying things a little differently so that the same mistakes aren't being made again.

      Thanks for your thoughts.

I think one of the blessings of getting older is the willingness to get over and forgive yourself for mistakes. I know it has helped me to be able to let it go and move on.

Holding on the our past, errors or omissions can cripple us for our present progress. Some time ago AL Williams wrote a book called, "All you can do is all you can do'", 'but all you can do is enough'. When you add that to the idea of forgiveness for past mistakes there is a good foundation for moving forward.

      I LOVE your Post...

I want to re-frame "Mistakes" and call them "Learning Experiences"

See, When we "make a mistake" it just means that we did something that brought us a result that Did NOT work for us.

"Mistakes" are simply our way of getting feedback from the Universe that lets us know what NOT to do.

As long as we Learn from our "mistakes" they have served us well.

      Namaste!
