Warriors -

I can Say, I am new to IM since I am not making money but spending money. However, I gained knowledge of SEO, various tools and tactics to be in first page of Google. But having your website in Google Page 1 doesn't mean that your website is going to make money.

So, I need direction from Mentor or Successful IMers not in terms of SEO but in terms of being successful in IM regardless of niche or type of the business (such as Adsense, Amazon, CPA..). I even tried to do search in forum by coaching and found couple of threads but I don't know where to go??

I do understand, it cost money to make money. However, I am willing to pay to mentor and going to the right direction instead of wasting my time/efforts for buying WSO to learn it.

So the question is for Everyone - Who is the best mentor to give you specific guidance to be a successful in IM.

Successful IMers - Please share your experience by answering below.

1. How did you become experts??
2. Did you take any coaching from any mentor? If yes, who is the best mentor based on your experience.
3. What you recommend for new users who are new to IM and wants to start/build successful carrier?

Please direct me if there is any existing/old thread where I can get answer, so I don't start the new thread and wasting IMers valuable time.

Note - This thread is not about SEO.

Thanks,
Pragnesh Patel

  • Hi
I am sure there are many great mentors out there, and I believe that the "best mentor" will be whoever matches with you the best.

My mentor is John Thornhill and he is excellent.
  • I love Micchiaveli he doing what he teach

  • I've just started in Kenster's Six Figure Alliance coaching program and it was been incredibly helpful thus far. I'm not fully done with his course, but after a week, I've already learned quite a bit and he is always eager to help answer any and all questions. It's also a great program because it links the students together so we all work, learn, and grow together.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • I also am in the Six Figure Alliance program from Kenster and I must say that it is worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY I gave him.

His I.M. knowledge is enormous and he clearly has a whole bunch of experience. But what I like most is that in this program you have DIRECT access to him. Ask him a question and in the same day you'll have an answer, and a complete one at that. All the lessons are over-delivered and you can see and feel that this is not rehashed stuff but truely a unique and complete way to approach Internet Marketing.

Get ready for next session because you don't want to miss that!

(By the way Kenster didn't ask me to write that tough I should ask him to pay me )

  • I think life coaching is essential for personal development, but sometimes it's out of our budget to afford one. If that's the case then I high recommend taking a look at: MorningCoach.com its an online personal development program I highly recommend. Luckily I am able to afford but my own life coach, but there was a time when I couldn't and that's where MorningCoach.com came in handy! Recommend it!

I think your question would have been better served in the internet marketing section or in one of the sub forums.

    • I was going to say this too. Since it was in this forum, I thought he was looking for a Life Coach but it appears he just needs IM help.

I found that direct, one on one coaching is expensive and time consuming. Learn as much as you can for free and search for answers to your questions on here or ask here.

  • Six Figure Alliance by Kenster gets my vote. Detailed, easy to understand, concerned for our success. I could go on. All is moving forward. Will keep you posted.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • I don't know enough people here, but I am definitely not new to IM.

The people that I like are John Carlton and Dan Kennedy. That are "gurus" but they produce quite a bit of good content. Definitely worth studying.
  • sometimes its not about being 'popular' to be experts. Popularity is sometimes used as branding. The key is profitability through 'solutions'. Produce GOOD products, people will buy them.

    • This be a good point though. Respect for these people is a good thing, but a little skepticism will never hurt.

      For me, it's Marcus Campbell.
  • I`m a member of Kensters six figure alliance though I`ve fallen behind in the last week or two, The quality and content is amazing and I`ve learned more in the last few weeks than I did from a mentoring course that cost me nearly $2000. Kenster gets my vote!!!!!
    • [ 1 ] Thanks

    • Colin...keep it up buddy. And don't worry about getting behind. As I've said, go through the course at your own pace, the content isn't going anywhere.

And most importantly, remember that I am here if you need me. If you are a little behind because you are getting stuck somewhere, let me know. You know how to reach me personally so use it!

Let's make sure 2012 is a huge success for you.

I appreciate the kind words though, I really do!

  • Both Justin Popovic and Brad Gosse both have great mentoring programs. They won't hold your hand, but that's a good thing. I fell behind with Justin but he's still there for me when I need him, awesome dude. Put the work in with probably ANYONE mentioned in this thread and you will succeed. It's about direction and action, the action part is entirely up to you.

  • Damn... This Kenster guy seems great!

Too bad I cannot afford his course
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Pintu,

Like you, I believed in getting mentors to cut short the learning curve when I started out. One thing you need to know is how much are you willing to pay and how much hand holding you need and want.

I'm on Ken's course (which is more or less in the IM niche) and it's been great and he's a great guy but it's not the "hand holding" kind of coaching where you get to talk to him regularly through calls each step of the way. There are of course emails/forum posts. So different programs offer different extent of contact and different extent of "coaching".

The important thing is what are you looking for right now?
  • Good to know that there are some people willing to mentor, even if it is at a small price. There is a price to pay for success.
  • has anyone actually made any money on Kenster's course?
    • [ 2 ] Thanks

    • With no disrespect to other mentors named on this thread if there is someone whom i really look up to it is Kenster. Wonderful coach who takes you by hand through all nitty gritties that a newbie should learn.
The course content is lucid and quite engaging. Emphasizes rightly on taking action and is always approachable. Ken, man you rock. If its learning internet marketing it has to be from kenster.

      Cheers,
      Andy
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
    • Seems like people really love Kenster's mentoring and learned a lot from him but can someone answer this question.

      Thanks,
      Chris
    • I get frustrated when I read threads and nobody seems to answer questions like this too. So I'll step up and answer it for you.

I'm in my second week of Kenster's coaching and highly recommend it.

      I also recommend Ryan Lee.

Yes, I'm drinking the Kenster Kool Aid and the Ryan Lee Lemonade right now. Yeah I said it

In terms of making money with Kensters coaching, somebody on our forum took action on one of Kenster's Quick Cash Methods from Week 1. He made his first sale yesterday.

I'm also implementing his Forum Marketing quick cash method from Week 1, where you utilise your forum signature to send people to affiliate products that add value. I know that it won't be long until I make my first sale!

Remember, these are just quick methods of making cash - they don't actually have anything to do with the core teachings of his 6 week course which people are also implementing.

If you notice the common thread, it's all about implementing and taking action. Kenster's course seems to have the ability to get people to take action more than I've seen from any other course. That's probably why it's successful, and why his students that take action will be too.

I'm sure you're going to hear a lot more success stories from Kenster's coaching as more students finish and implement his teachings.

And I'm not just talking small time success like "Oh yeah they made a little bit of money with it'...

I'm talking "Wow! Those people have established themselves online, and are running real businesses that provide great value. I wish I could be like them" kind of success...

      Stay tuned

  • Dan Kennedy for his no-nonsense approach that works for virtually any type of business. Ali Brown is also great, and one of his top students. She speaks more to women business owners though. Both of them are excellent for online and offline marketing.

    Good luck!

  • Dear Pintu,

From my perspective, Chris Farrell Membership for learning the basics of how to make money online is one of the best online coaches out there. His video instruction is simply outstanding. I have been a Chris Farrell member for a little over a year now. And the cost of his program is relatively inexpensive.

One major mistake that many people make who are new to the online world (and I include myself) is that they expect to make money immediately. To me that is putting the cart before the horse.

My best advise is to learn the basics of how to make money online first and then you will be more aware and knowledgeable of which direction you want to take your business in the future.

Even those people that make money online sooner than others doesn't mean they will sustain that income over time. Learn the basics first, and don't compare your progress with others and remember you never stop learning in the online world. The more skills you learn the more effective you will be over time.

I have also taken instruction from Jared Elvidge who provides more one on one coaching and who I think is also an excellent teacher.

    I hope this is helpful.

    • I second Robitay-there's no better teacher of the basics than Chris Farrell. Kenster is a great teacher and motivator also(He's humble and willing to go the extra mile for his customers). If you can afford it, Jarrett Stevenson was my personal mentor and he made the process of making money online very easy for me.

  • Yes coaching and mentors are very important.

I have had 3 awesome mentors in my IM career.

The first mentor that I had was a guy named Mario G. He was a guy who really enjoyed cold calling. He was a seven figure earner that I met through my mom. He taught me the basics of network marketing and home business building along with the 'buyers' psychology.

The second mentor that I had taught me more in regards to mindset. His name is Mike L. He was an EX RCMP Sergent (Canadian Federal Police Division) who left his job in law enforcement to pursue a career online. His best year was around $300K.

His friends and family all thought he was nuts when he left his job to become a marketer. But they all shut up the day he drove down to Montreal and bought his mom a brand new car (something he wanted to do for years but couldn't with his $80K per year job).

That's a success story in its own rights don't you think?

Having the proper mindset is King in this line of work. It will make all the difference in the world regarding your business, your success and your state of 'mind'.

My last mentor (and he still is to this day) is a guy named Orsini. He taught me a lot about ad copy and how to incorporate other business topics into our home business niche.

Orsini is a very powerful marketer to this day. He brought in many big name marketers into this industry.

One of the guys he brought in through a 3 lined text ad with Google Adwords called himself an Internet 'RockStar' (Brian Finale) who in turn started a company System called MLSP (My Lead System Pro) which in turn 'attracted' another guy with long crazy wavy hair that learned how to market himself online with MLSP.

Then he co-founded the Empower Network along side Sharpe.
  • I always have a problem with the word "best." It is too relative, too vague. In your case, find someone you can easily get in touch with and talk to. Even if he is not the best, if you have rapport and he has some degree of success, he should be good enough
  • For me the best coach and best mentor on the earth is me and myself.

I have worked hard, experimented different techniques and learnt a lot from personal reading, experiments and taking actions that I don't think mentor or coach is necessary for me or for any hard working individual. All you need is hard work, willingness to work and serious effort to take actions on what ever you have learnt.
  • Interesting thread.... I was just wondering the same thing.
  • there are so many mentors/coach here on this forum. I was lucky enough to get mentored by some intelligent people which has really helped me in my career. I personally feel motivational books are good mentors too.
  • I'm with Psychologically Unemployable mastermind group and our awesome no BS mentor is Zach Crawford. Best decision I ever made when I was starting out. Let me know if you want the testimonials that he got from his students and clients.
  • The best mentor i know is eric louviere !!! very entertaining guy who provides A LOT of value !!!

Chris Farrell is a great mentor too......
  • Having a mentor is worth the money. But like it has been said, find who matches you, not who is suggested!
