Can you count how many hours each week, each month, each year we waste in such unproductive stuff?

The time which we've wasted in:

watching movies in cinema halls
watching TV's unnecessary programs including the so called reality shows
discussing with friends about TV shows and cinema's
Watching sports events and discussing the same with friends
Reading extensively about sports/film/TV celebrities

The time which we've wasted:

by not planning our days in advance

by sleeping more than what was needed

in quarreling with others and time it took to come to our senses

by thinking about our never ending worries

The time which we've wasted: ....

again.

  • hello tk226 thanks for that stuff i can look at there

what about the time i wasted on negative issues like resentments and fear....worrying about the future
when i started living in the day ....my buisness rocketed !! : )
  • Yeah, my mind obsesses over time management. If I have a few free hours, I would like to spend it doing this or that. Of course, I want time for fun stuff, but that doesn't help business outside of a little break.
  • We should not think about the time we wasted. We need to utilize the time we have in front. Always past it Past.
  • Procrastination has many faces to it - I'll be putting out an IM Millionaire Mindset self-hypnosis product soon!
  • The dummy box is a major time waster as long your tv is on you are off. It does everything for you. You don't have to think, you don't have to write, you don't have to move, you are zombiefied lol. Great Post sing it from the mountain top please....
  • Time management is very important, to ensure success you have to always ensure you make your day productive.
  • I see my time as all productive sleeping - Dreaming up brilliant ideas. movies/TV - Research. If your in the creative field it's easy to find inspiration if anything you do. Even walking down the street...
  • Mostly I waste my time to give my time
to others as helping hand. They are just
use me and kick me off..

    • Here's a relevant quote, and one of my favorites, from Seneca the Younger:

  • There is no wasted time as long as we learn a lesson from our actions or lack of them.
  • If you mean unproductive time then I could offer my side of the story.

I recently realized that I was spending 15- 20 minutes daily going through online newspapers.

However, when I did some quick math, 15 minutes daily is 450 minutes a month-almost a full working day.

In one year, I would have spent about 90 hours. ( Just imagine what you can do with this kind of time in your hands)

I stopped this habit and I am now on my 70th day without papers. My goals cannot be affected by my ignorance of what is is called news- usually about murders, earthquakes, accidents, political machinations and a big display of moral decay.

In fact, if you can write just 100 words every 15 minutes, you can post an article every week-52 in a year. This is something most people do not do because of lack of time.
