Does your boyfriend/girlfriend or husband/wife help you make money?

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for people on here who are in relationships where both partners help each other make money or build businesses.

I'm with a dating advice company called DateMasters. Essentially, we teach men dating and life strategies to help them enjoy happy, mutually exciting relationships with women of character, beauty and accomplishment.

So, guys and gals - How does your partner support you as you make money through your ventures? (Or, how do you support your partner?)

    I'm single now; but when I had a girlfriend her support was mostly through giving me the time I needed to start building a business. That itself was extremely valuable. Just one more reason to miss her...(sobs)...I'm cool, I'm cool lol.

    Being single has helped me get a lot further though with the free time.

  • Nope, all she thinks I do is go on the computer the whole day... but hey all I think she does is stand around all day(she works in sales), love/hate relationship anyone? lol
  • I've been single for a while and my past girlfriends have only *cost* me money. Heh.

    • Sometimes I have the same problem with my wife. She thinks that the bottom is going to fall out soon, and I will be stuck having to get a real job! She spends more time trying to waste my time when I have projects that are already paid for, you would think that she wants me to fail sometimes. Sometimes she is tough to figure out.

  • My husband makes dinner, washes the dishes and looks after the children to give me time to write. That's the best thing he can do for me. We're now venturing out on a joint offline project which combines our interests, and we're having a lot of fun with it.

  • Me an my friend is planning to do online services like web designing and some internet marketing. He's a boy and have a good technical skills.
  • My wife isn't really involved in the money making side of the business, but she does do my accounts for me at no charge so cant moan!
  • My wife is very supportive. She is the one who encourage and enlighten me to continue my dreams.... especially when i don't know what to do in times of difficulties.
  • My spouse doesn't actively help me with the business, but she does support and encourage me. And she does my taxes, too! She gets especially excited whenever I tell her I've earned another commission or earned some income from another Internet Marketing source (she sometimes doubts that I am actually "working" when I am doing this, lol.)

    • My hubby helps by leaving when I have recording to do and this year he actually blew me away when he told me this race season, we'll be putting my website on the side of his race car!

  • I have found that women are usually a money drain, historically speaking. That is not always the case, but it has been the majority of my experience so far, for better or for worse.
  • My boyfriend support me much...i can do handwork from the inspiration of him.
  • I'm single and practically no one help me make money, even my family. But when I have a bf/husband, I expect him to be a motivator in my online business..

  • Nope not yet, but I would love to find a girlfriend/wife who can also be my best friend and business partner

    We'll probably start business together (be it offline or online), make mistakes together, learn together, go for seminar together, laugh together, make money together, live together, and finally die together... hahah I'm just kidding about the dying part.. But seriously, I would want to find a gf/wife who can be my best friend and business partner..

    I believe that way our relationship will grow stronger and stronger (slowly but surely)

  • The power of duplication works well in your own family i.e. your spouse can help you with your work and you can increase your income, maybe even double it. Of course you will need to teach him/her how to go about it!
  • Every now and again I wish my wife would participate but at the same time I don't think our house is big enough for 2 of me. She is extremely supportive and proud. She keeps me going no matter what. Hope the rest of y'all can say the same.
