I shot this vid for my blog and I thought it would be a good fit with some of the conversations taking place in this forum.

Here's how to stop letting your fear of making mistakes hinder you

  • Glad you liked it Joe. Have a great weekend
  • That's it. Maybe I just need to accept that I will screw things up and work on rectifying them, rather than wasting time striving for perfection.
  • I really like that video
  • Thank you for the tip.. I'm starting my new job in 2 days and this will be very useful

just a side question: how do you thank someone for their post?

    • All the best with the new job.

You'll find the "thanks" tab at the end of every thread by someone else.

      This one

  • Thank you for the video. It is really good.
  • What you're explaining is the "fear of failure", however I think many people have acclimated to such a statement to some degree. They don't think that they're afraid of "failing", they're just worried that they'll "screw it all up", which is why your video can help to reach those people.

I wrote a 23 page ebook extensively on how to overcome the fear of failure in a matter of six simple steps, but even for those who've read it, so few people implement it. So many people want to change themselves and better their lives, but they're not willing to put in the necessary effort to do so.

What you've posted here is a good thing. Even if you only really help out a single person, imagine the people that person can reach. Always strive to do good, and you'll have no regrets.

    Excellent video.

    Awesome video Justin!

The most obvious problem that people have is that they are afraid of not being good enough. On the other hand, there are also people who are scared to share what they already know or do well.

You need to give all the time, because that´s how you create success.

Therese, I totally agree with you. I consider daily personal development study as important as eating, brushing teeth, etc... it has worked wonders for me anyways
  • Thanks for the great video!
