I've noticed that if I don't carve out an hour writing in the morning I just don't get to it all day. First of all I have less distractions both physically and mentally when writing in the morning. I'm also learning that I'm fresher with clients and more able to make an impact if I have the 1 hour writing goal out of the way. Without that small discipline, I end up feeling guilty for not getting any writing done and too tired to try by the end of the day.
Do you follow a daily schedule or just "wing" it?
