I'm not sure if this is where I should be posting this, but for what I'm looking for it seemed like the best place. I currently have 8 places that I have my adsense ads on. My wife and I each have a HubPages, I have 4 blogs that I write on, she has 1, plus I have a micro niche site that I haven't posted any articles on yet. With the exception of my micro niche site that I'm basically using as a test site, I'm not looking for a get rich quick scheme, I'm looking to build up my blogs and sites to make a living off of them.

My first question is, in the most generic sense possible, for a decent ranked site, what on average can I expect per day from adsense? I've seen $20 a day thrown around, but I'm not sure how accurate that is. With decent rank, decent traffic, and keywords that get between $.30 and $1.00 per click, is that about right, or a little more or less than what I could expect?
All of my sites are between a day and 5 weeks old, so at this point, how often should I be updating my blog? I've seen everything from everyday, to once a month. My daily visitors range from 5 a day to 80, so I don't have that good of traffic, and what I'm wondering is if adding more content would help more, or if I should just focus on ranking what I have already.
Being that I'm looking to make money from my blogging, instead of blogging to make money, what is the best approach to SEO? I've read that both on page and off is important, just on page, just off page, and that you can ignore it completely and just have great content. So far I've been focusing on on page, with a little off page mixed in, but not much.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
