Faster EFT

I've been watching some videos by someone named Robert Smith, the creator of "Faster EFT." If you're not familiar with EFT, it stands for Emotional Freedom Technique and involves tapping various acupuncture points on the body.

Faster EFT reduces the process to tapping only a few different points. What's also interesting is that he says you can eventually get the same benefits simply by imagining yourself tapping.

  • I wonder how much of EFT is placebo. I think the tapping might simply produce positive physical benefits.
  • Well, maybe it is a placebo. But as Deepak Chopra always says, that is a legitimate form of healing. It just means that the mind has the power to heal. Since it apparently works even without physical tapping, that does suggest it's all in the mind.
  • I have mixed feelings about EFT but if it works for people then thats all that matters, although it does seem a bit vague. I do know for certain that direct pressure on point or meridian or I should say considered thoughtful pressure can influce massive change within mental, emotional, physical bodies and restore wellbeing.
