I want to ask you a question - why do you want to make money online? Is it to make more money? Be your own boss? Maybe it's to provide something better for your family? I want to know what really motivates you!

    • About myself grow, control and freedom and also include more money when I give value to other and I live work with my passion niche.
    • Well... Earning the money is the fun part of the game... but also just growing your skills and seeing yourself develop in to someone who has more potential in doing something even bigger in the field.
  • Of course it's to make money. Otherwise we would all be playing video games or exploring the great outdoors. Or, as my 8 year old does, both simultaneously.

For me, it's because I made the decision several years ago to be completely debt free - including cars and house. The problem is I also have expensive taste, 3 kids, and my wife is a stay at home mom, so if I didn't do what I was doing, I'd basically be screwed.

When the next generation Corvette comes out this fall, most of the guys who buy it will drive out towing a car payment. I'll be writing a check. When my kids are ready for college, there will be no student loans, I'll be writing checks for that too. The ONLY way I'm able to do those things in cash is because I've been fortunate enough to have worked with some great people over the years and had the opportunity to learn the things I do for others for a living.

So what motivates me...? Living the lifestyle I want without ever getting anything in the mail that says "Balance Due:"

  • The question is, what is your "why".

Why do you get up, why do you work, why do you exist?

Because the truth is, we don't have to exist, we don't have to do anything.

    So what is your "why".

    My "why" is my family.

    Just my take

    • Heh, my "Why" is just idk... family, finance & skill growth.

But what really keeps me going is to prove my wife wrong about internet marketing... and I have

  • Of course it's for money. But generating money by adding tremendous value consistently. There are many mouth to feed. I would like to support my wife and two elderly parents eventually.
  • I tell you, I've 5 reasons to motivate me:

    1. MONEY
    2. MONEY
    3. MONEY
    4. MONEY
    and....
    5. MONEY

Is there any 'thing' in the world except Oxygen that is available for free? If not, then why not money be the motivator? Absoltely. I am all for it as long as it comes through a means that is ethical.

  • I have one reason - FREEDOM!

Let's face it, in this society we need money just to survive but money can also give you great freedom. I haven't work a day at a job since Tuesday (Dec 21st 2004) and I love my freedom. I get up when I'm rested, I go to sleep only if I'm tired and I get to hang out with cool, positive motivated people all day. I'm not a multi millionaire but I have enough to buy my freedom and the rest is just gravy.

Freedom is the number 1 most desired thing in every human's life - think about it. Freedom vs anything else: freedom always wins.

    • Money is simply a means of exchange which is more convenient than barter. Otherwise, when I wanted to renew my subscription at the tennis club I would have to get them to accept 35 pots of the herb capsules which I make for my mail order business LOL

What motivates me with Internet marketing is the fact it's something I love to do, and something which gives me the potential to earn enough money so that I can do exactly what I want.

      I'm not there yet - but I'm on the way. The 'more' of what I want to do includes;
      - helping others to be successful
      - helping others in the community - may be the elderly, or being a mentor to needy kids
      - studying things I don't make money out of - history, for example, and local affairs
      - spending more time on my health. I am already pretty healthy, but I'd like to do more.

I already spend some of my time on these things, but if my income is higher I'd spend more of it. And that's my goal.

  • I want to leave my daughter enough money to not have to work a crap job. I don't care to leave her rich, I probably can't. But I want to leave her with enough to give her many paths to choose from in life.
  • I just feel that when I do my stuff online I am accomplishing something. Not everyone can do this, and it makes me feel good when I make deals with other and get paid to do what my clients want. I do it for some extra money so my family and I can have things that we want without having to spend the income from my full time job.

    • As my Grandfather lay dying in the hospital bed, he took my hand.

I leaned in closer to hear what he had to tell me.

He said, "Money's not everything, but it's something."

To drive home the point: I would rather die earning money, than live a life scavenging for crumbs.
  • There are so many reasons one of the biggest is to help as many others to have a more wonderful life with Financial Freedom. Yet it would not be honest to say I don't enjoy the things money buys but the things like freedom travel, joy, adventure are all more important. yet to do most of them and to pay the bills we need money. I notice when I have a lot I can be more brave and caviler in my answers to this question. As business people most of us have had ups and downs, and when I am down it it harder to be as happy and free yet it does get me very motivated to kick butt and get money back. It's a bit like a love hate relationship yet I do feel it's better to have then not.
  • I am motivated to succeed because the potential fruits of success appear to be so superbly wonderful. I'll either succeed or else die of old age in about 50-90 years. I plan on enjoying life a great deal no matter what happens, though.
  • My motivation for online success is seeing people happy because of the value we gave them. It is really fun to work online because you'll be interacting different people from different place.
  • This is a no brainer.. All the above

  • Money is one reason why I'm motivated to earn online. Who doesn't want to have money? Another thing that motivates me is the desire to prove myself not just to other people but to my very own self as well. I want to prove to others that it's possible to earn online. And I want to prove to myself that I could conquer my laziness and I could work hard.
  • Yes, money is important, especially in our daily life. It is also bringing food to our family’s table. And it makes me more knowledgeable, about other things that are outside our comfort zone. It is also helps me to be more responsible in my obligations in life.

    But most of all...
    FREEDOM!
  • I do what I do to prove that I am capable and powerful beyond all measure. I want to prove wrong those who doubt me and honor those who believe in me.

I also want the freedom to do what I want, when I want, and to help others in the process. The money's not too bad either
