Best Personal Development Book?

Here is the question. What do you think is the best personal development book out there? For me, I really enjoyed Goals by Brian Tracey. It cuts straight to the chase and is a pretty easy read. I finished it in about 3 hours and the exercises you do in the book really give you a detailed roadmap.

How about you guys? What are your favorites?

  • Shut Up, Stop Whining, and Get a Life: A Kick-Butt Approach to a Better Life: by Larry Winget
  • The Magic of Thinking Big by David J. Schwartz, PhD.

If you haven't read it, it should definitely be first on your list.

    • I have to also recommend The Magic of Thinking Big. This is one of the first books that I recommend to anyone interested in personal development/success. Reading this book for 15-30min each morning will give you a fantastic start for the day.
  • The best personal development book I have read is called, "Boundaries: When to Say YES and When to Say NO, To Take Control of Your Life," by Henry Cloud, John Townsend

It is so straightforward and supportive, and I think boundaries are the starting point for any other type of personal development.
