  • There's quite a bit we don't know about how the mind works, and more and more studies are showing our "conscious minds" are not nearly in as much control as we think they are.

    Right now, I'm reading "You're Not So Smart," by David McRaney, and it basically goes through all the mental tricks that we use to deceive ourselves.

    Quite an interesting read.

    • These TED talks are extremely interesting. The simple way they are delivered is nice.

      I always learn something particular to the way I know myself when I listen to them.

      This was actually a very personal talk. Most impressive.
