Challenge
Gosh.. challenges are so inviting aren't they?
They make you WANT to beat everyone else. OR they make you want to give up before you even begin because you're too afraid of everyone else.
But either way... they are hella fun to watch.
Think about the Superbowl, Olympics, Fortune 500, your Google rankings, or even the challenge of doing better than those that you went to school with (one of my favorites).
If you want to push yourself to succeed.. challenge yourself.. or challenge someone else to compete against you.
I mean.. it's pretty obvious that a challenge pushes us, right?
You could look at a show like Big Brother. When someone is not up for eviction from the Big Brother house, they don't really try as hard.. but the second they're nominated to get kicked out of they house, they fight for their lives!
Ya gotta challenge yourself and if that means to get yourself to a point where you're almost going to be evicted.. so be it.
One of the challenges that I greatly miss from my life was when I lived out of a car.. I had nothing to my name but that crappy old car, a few shirts, and enough money to get me from point A to point B.
Other than that... I was a nobody.
And I loved the challenge of making myself into a "somebody". I'm still competing to do it every single day and as I get closer and closer, one thing is always clear... it's challenging and that's what pushes me to get there.
