Conventional wisdom says a person should get at least eight hours of sound sleep every twenty four hours. One third of a day seems like a reasonable amount of time to sleep. But, I'll bet there are those of you who require ten to twelve hours of sleep to feel right.

Conventional wisdom says a person should get at least eight hours of sound sleep every twenty four hours. One third of a day seems like a reasonable amount of time to sleep.
But, I'll bet there are those of you who require ten to twelve hours of sleep to feel right.
And then there must be, I'd be willing to bet, those of you who only need six or fewer hours to get a full charge of your day's energy.
So am I right? Are there any of you who do not conform to the average of eight hours of sleep a night? If so it would be enlightening for the rest of us to observe other folk's sleep habits. This would be good comparative information.
I am the eight or more hour variety individual. Occasionally I will snag extra sleep (one or more hours) depending on how I spent my energy the night before.
