  • From personal experience, once you start overwhelming your mind with information overload you can start gaining clarity about the path which you want to take to create the right business
  • Meditate.

    Meditate some more.

    Then, meditate? Yes, meditate again

Become aware of your feelings. You are not your feelings. You are not your thoughts. You are awareness attending to your feelings and thoughts and can release any feeling - including overwhelm - on command, through frequent, disciplined meditation.

All the best with your WSO!
  • One thing that I find that helps me (that I found while learning about GTD) is getting a sheet of paper, setting aside a few minutes, and then writing down everything that is on my mind. Everything, every little worry, things you have to do, ideas, thoughts that keep going through your mind, everything.

Once you have a page full of your thoughts, then you can begin processing them one at a time. The idea is that since your thoughts are written down, you don't have to worry about forgetting them, so your mind doesn't have to go through the trouble of thinking about them all the time, and you can really clear your mind.

    • This makes sense if you have a hard drive full of WSOs and have never actually followed thru on any of them. I admit it is addictive to buy these. Unfortunately most of us download the info, read it, and then stop at that point.

My wife has a closet full of shoes that have not been worn very many times if at all. Maybe I should make a deal with her. I will stop buying WSOs if she stops buying shoes.

  • I started internet marketing exactly one year ago this month as an affiliate marketer, and 2013 was "WSO Hell" for me personally. I went down so many paths that I thought I'd never find my way back home again. My hard drive and browser bookmark list is like a WSO graveyard.

Then I bought one from Alex Jeffries who said "Best way to make money is to create a giveaway and capture email addresses, and then create a backend and recruit affiliates".
    Hmmmmmm, I thought.

Then I bought one by Mike Marin who said "Best way to make money is to create a giveaway and capture email addresses, and then create a backend and recruit affiliates".
    OK, I thought.

Then I more-or-less stopped buying WSO's until recently when I was sold on a Eric Louviere mini coaching webinar series, and Eric says, errrrrrrrrrr "The best way to make money is to create a giveaway and capture email addresses, and then create a backend and recruit affiliates".

Dunno about you, but I started to notice a pattern in all of that. Yeah, I catch on quick ) Hopefully 2014 will be a WSO Free year, unless it's my own !

    • Thank you for sharing your experience. It is kind of funny how you narrated your story. Thanks again Simon. Here's to a profitable 2014!
    • Dude your a great story teller!

  • If you are, then take time off and unclutter your mind.
  • OK, in an infamous study about how people react to being given too many choices, a grocery created two stands of grape jam. The first stand had 36 different brand name jars. However, the second stand only had six. Like wow, the results are in. There were 50% more people looking at the first stand full of jars. However, 10X more purchased jam from the second stand with only six jars.
  • People, its simple. JUST START ! ! !
  • I need a 100 wso's so I can make $100 a day! Haha.

It's funny how the more wso's you buy the more broke you get and the less wso's you buy the more money you make. Once you actually start making money and you know how to make money online then it doesn't really matter how many wso's you buy.

If you don't know how to make $100 a day (aka a newbie) you're better off focusing on one wso or method until you make a decent income before you buy another one.

Easier said than done I guess.

  • Great post. A lot off people fall into the shiney object and information overload trap. The shiny object syndrome is a real issue for tons of people on this form. They see a new wso and never commit to any of the 1000 that's already on their harddrive
  • So true.

Stop buying and start taking action.

    Cheers,

    C.G.
