Hey RaymondB Here are a few examples of effective QR Marketing for Local: Addition to business cards for more contact detail and direct links to social media Inclusion in print ad materials to expand on product or services Addition to direct mail, event materials for more detailed info Placement in storefront windows / premium items / promo swag One of the beautiful things about QR Codes is , QR Codes can measure results based on clicks and leads to your other social engagement opportunities. Link-shortening services bit.ly and goo.gl now automatically generate a QR code for sharing your shortened links. Also some quick tips: Define your purpose (i.e. what it is you are trying to achieve by implementing QR codes?) Tell viewers they can expect before they scan and let them know if there are any enticements. Design QR Code that is larger than 6.5 square centimetres (1 square inch) where possible. Make sure the destination landing page is mobile friendly. Cheers! |

If you want to be creative with your QR codes I found a site that offers free custom designs. I'm using it now and wanted to share it with all who want to custom design their codes. You can check it out at http;//qrcustomdesigner.com

What I do is under the QR code, list which android and apple app needs to be downloaded that will read the code. I have found that a lot of people have seen QR codes but are not sure what they are or how to use them. By showing them which app they need to use to read the QR code increases the number of scans. |
