Best way to monetize mobile traffic?

My fitness-related website is getting quite a lot of mobile traffic. I've never monetized this kind of traffic.

In your experience or opinion, what's the best way to monetize it? Note that I don't want to build any lists.

Should I try to promote apps? Should I throw up some ads? Have CPA offers worked well for you?

What have you guys tried?

Any feedback will be much appreciated!

I think CPI campaigns gives more revenue these days. Till now I have not faced much problems in CPA offers as well. The ket factor is that your have genuine traffic not back-end traffic.

In my experience, mobile traffic is great for Adsense if you have your website optimized correctly.

Try Taboola, they are the best ad network to make money but not they accept sites with over 1M page views a month.

Why you don't want to build email list? Is the traffic from developing countries? There are two method to get benifits from freebies (i) Send them to CPA offers, CPAlead have a lot of mobile app install offers with over $1 per offer completed (I worked with them for a while)
(ii) Build an email list of those freebies and send them to every new post of your site (which contains ads) or YouTube videos

You can try to promote some mobiles offers, or sell some positions on your website to some publishers, to try to make some money extra. But one thing i will advice is to run something kind of similar to what your website is related to.
