we are starting to see some in our neck of the woods that are 3 foot x 3 foot, and several FULL Page ads in our local Newspapers. The rage is Catching on. Regards, Robert Mobile Fusion Texting

I've seen giant poster sized QR codes in the front windows of stores at our local mall.

Just this last weekend I was stunned with this inside a local movie theater. The QR code had to be 3ft x 3ft on a 7 ft tall sign advertising an upcoming movie. Cool thing was, the usual black areas were cut out of a photograph of a woman's face! |

| Yes, as long as you are far enough back to fit the code image into your scan viewer. I’ve heard of outdoor billboards with QR codes on them. Funny thing with this code is when I scanned it at the theater; it took me to a mobile optimized site that was broken (at least to my 4G Evo) and is still broken a week later. LOL …I guess even big budget companies can have their hiccups on silly things, too. |

I was at a concert back in mid August and on both sides of this mega huge stage where two monitors that had to of been at least 50'x50' minimum. Usually they have the band on those screens while they play (I've been to this venue well over 80 times). Guess what was on them? Yep, you guessed it. . QR codes on both screens the duration of the show which was 10 hours long. Just above each QR code were the words, "SCAN THAT ****!" This was an under 30 crowd. I wanted to see where it linked to, also I wanted to take a picture and post it here because it's amazingly the biggest QR code I probably will ever see. How Ironic that I left my smart phone in the car! |

I'm thinking of trying to build one that will need to be read from 50 to possibly 100+ yards away... How big am I going? - REAL BIG! That Calvin QR is about 12'x12'? - (or do you think it's 15x15?) @ powermediaone - That 50'x50' is actually too big, but how far could that be scanned? Am I dreaming? Any ideas? (oh, and it would be great if it can be scanned from a moving vehicle...:rolleyes |

@ Pierre! - That's the spirit! Crop Circle QR codes! I wonder if you could make a QR code out of "crowd flip cards" in a stadium? That would make them take notice! |

Going out to that venue that day was a real eye opener. Seeing how countless businesses (mainly media and entertainment) where utilizing sms offers, qr codes EVERYWHERE you looked, really gave an impact as of how effective this advertising medium can be when done properly.
