I didn't realize spam was such an issue over there already, and I'm glad to see the government step in actually, but I'd like to see a smarter ruling.
If, for example, the rule was 100 text INTERACTIONS that were INITIATED by you per day, I could understand. However I think passive systems like TEXT: blah TO: blah should be exempt because the consumer is actively perusing the information.
Another option for a passive system entirely would be to promote via QR codes, and have the QR codes take them directly to your mobile site. |
Are you just not getting around the limitation via a loophole though?
