So as we get different clients which are out of the ordinary I like to let you know. Local govt, which we call councils here in Australia, provide a wide range of services and also have a number of properties they rent or promote. Over the last few weeks we have had a rash of these departments order not only mobile websites but also main websites. These have ranged from community centers to tourist information. I looked up NY City and on this site there are heaps of opportunities that show you what they do New York State | Citizen Guide So don't rule out local Govt for websites and especially mobile websites. When you go see these people do not rubbish their current webmaster but provide information that will compliment what they do. You are a specialist in your field that probably there webmaster is not. Quite often these will be biggish sites that they will want to add to so we use a wordpress site on a .mobi domain. Q |

Wow, they ordered mobile websites from your website? I didn't think that getting traffic to your online mobile site really mattered since people aren't going out looking for them you have to educate them first. I made a site very similar to your speedie.mobi, and will be sending my clients there that I e-mail/face to face, but I had no idea you could actually just get traffic to there from people checking out mobile online. Awesome stuff as usual, Thanks Quentin Darrett |

Actually they came looking for QR Codes Darrett. One came a few months ago from Outback Australia as they wanted a mobile website and QR Code to add to some plaques on a tourist drive. We did it and they mentioned us to others. The others came in through our agents. Quentin |
