Hey All, Ok,, I got a question about mobile web pages and content. I see a lot of consultants around here talking about "how to make" so many dollars for a mobile site. Usually, anywhere from FREE to $97.00 --- $197---- to ---$300 + and so on. Probably depending on how many pages, of course. My question is: How many pages do you INITIALLY offer. Let's say you have a $297 price tag,, how many pages would that include? Also,, how much content would be reasonable per page? I mean,, what if someone tries to get you to put a whole site on one page? (give um an inch and they'll take you a mile) What would be you basic pages offering? And which pages, Example: Home, contact us, map, etc. And what about images? What's a good starting price to add images? Also, how many images per page? I'm just trying to get some reasonable round numbers to get an idea of the types of packages I want to offer and have an idea of about how much is "the going rate" for these services. Your input is greatly appreciated. ![]() Robert X |

I've found the "sweet spot" for me to be around $219-249 for offline clients. I've gotten more than that, but find that price range keeps me busy. As far as pages goes, it depends on the site the client wants converted. Usually, from 5-7 pages. Images, audio, video, etc.. again depends on the site. But frankly, they're easy to add, so it's no big deal. Again, my approach is to OVER deliver. I've not had a client who has tried to cram too much content on 1 page, they know what is too much. Just get out there and START... trust me, you will adjust things as you go. Ron |

I shoot for $300 and I'll do 5 pages for that. In very few cases will a mobile site need more than 5 to 6 pages. Mobile sites are about getting to the relevant info quickly and for that info to be actionable by the end user $$$. I was looking at some websites on my phone earlier today. It was so frustrating trying to find what I needed because they were not optimized. |
