Hi, I can handcode html and css and use Wordpress etc, but haven't built any mobile sites yet and really only just started considering it yesterday. I'm wondering what the principle is behind a mobile site. Is it a script of some kind, or just a skinny website? Do I buy mobile wysiwyg software to make them? If so, what are they? Basically, what is the easiest, best and cheapest solution/s, pros and cons? I don't expect people to give up all their sources if that's an issue, just help with any of the above. Thanks, Greg |

Or you can just sell them and outsource to the people that already have experience |

Doesn't Wordpress have a plugin that converts your site into a mobile version?

I won't jump on the self promotion bandwagon as others have above, what I WILL say is you have the most flexibility when coding things yourself. Learning to manipulate HTML and CSS code is always going to give you the greatest options.

As a programmer, I couldn't agree more with this. But for those who are not programmers, I would highly recommend Will's templating tutorials.
