You aren't going to want to use a generic mobile app proposal. If you're marketing to small businesses, you will want to conduct some research on each individual business. Find out some details about their competition, their target market, etc.

If their main competitor already has a mobile app, show it to them! Let them see that the competition is already a few steps ahead of them on the technology curve, and is reaping benefits because of it.

If their target market is anybody between 16-60, this is the perfect age group for smart-phone users.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that while it may work to a certain degree, marketing with a generic proposal won't yield results like a custom approach. Business owners will appreciate your attention to detail, and the few minutes of research it took to gather the information I mentioned.

Hope this helps.
