Hi Warrios i've seen many people talking about SMS here on the forum
where can learn to use SMS to get local clients?

i have an idea on how this method works but i dont understand how can i capture de poeple's phone number? it is similar to aweber with emails?

Any explanation will be appreciated

Yes it is like email marketing.

Most clients would use it to turn their semi-regular clients into regulars. To get the once a month guy in once a week and etc.

You can probably google a lot about it or just call around to different companies who sell it and ask questions.

As far as biggest, I don't think there really is a "biggest" yet..biggest hopefully will be me in a few years.

It means short message service. It's more commonly known as text message.

Hi,

One of my clients had a very good experience when using ME Consultancy company in UK. They set up everything ie system, client details database and managed it on their behalf so the mobile marketing my client had to do comprised of simply typing the message that then went to all concerned.

There are many companies out there that provide same or similar service. My advice would be manage it yourself until it gets out of control in terms of time spent etc and then use recommended company to take over.

Try platforms like linked in and sales force to get contact information of your local businesses. SMS marketing is similar to email marketing, sending bulk and informative content to your targeted audience your business growth is the major concern.

Though marketing through SMS is effective, it is mostly misused and the users tend to neglect the messages. This was over exploited by the ad agencies and as a result, government is trying to curb this. So mobile marketing is not that much effective unless carefully chosen.

Do I have to stay signed in to yahoo to succesfully recieve a text from a friend? I know the person replied back in a text to my yahoo account cause I was right there. When I signed in there was no sign of it... Am I looking in the wrong place or do I HAVE to be signed in to recieve it?

Are you sending SMS messages through yahoo like a Google voice number? I don't understand.

That's completely false, we sent out a promo for a free pastry all day until 6 on a Monday to 422 in his database and 170 redeemed the offer.
