Will is right, it seems pretty basic with non-attractive looks. The features seems nice but would be a better one if the design is improved.

there a demo anywhere - couldnt see one on the site and got a ton of errors when i installed the plugin?

I am the developer of MobileCartly... =)

I created it to piss off Will.. lol jk.

I created MobileCartly because users of my other app sites we're requesting it...
(I am the developer of numerous other app development sites which has over 75,000 users combined.). The number one thing they asked me for was a way to create mobile commerce apps... So I built it for them.

I decided not to charge for it.. its open source. You can modify it if you like.

Just for the record.. The poster above named "Will" is also a mobile developer, and I have to believe MobileCartly will take alot of business from him.. Hence his bashing... so disregard his input)

Back to MobileCartly.. I've been working on it for months and it has many features...

Paypal Integration,
Multi-Currency,
Product Upload,
Image Upload,
Nested Categories,
WYSIWYG editors,
Custom Page creator,
Order Management,
Invoicing,
Return URL after purchase (for Digital Products),
Traffic Statistics,
Order Statistics,
Design Customizations,
and more... (I'm just too lazy to list them all)

So it's obviously not "basic".

As for the Wordpress Bug the other poster mentioned... I would be glad if you PMME and tell me the version of Wordpress you are using... (I did not test it on every single version)... I would be glad to fix the error.

So far 12,000+ people have downloaded MobileCartly in one week.. Plus I am getting amazing feedback so far. (So something is working right)

If you find a bug.. let me know.. (PMME)

One more thing.. We will soon open up the Developer Portal for Designers to create and sell their themes to users.. So if you are interested... PMME or shoot me an email on the site. (Will you are not invited)

So far we have about 85 designers starting to work on themes which they intend to sell in the theme store. So the themes will only get better with more options over time.

The mobile space is a big niche.. I hope you don't think you "own" it by bashing anyone else in the space that has a competing product/service. I saw your WSO.. You have a mobile product of your own, as do I. I never ever stepped on your toes and bashed your product. (which I easily could) So as a warrior member, you should show the same respect.

As for "tooting" my own horn.. that is nonsense. I am not the one who started this thread.. To be honest, I didn't even want MobileCartly posted on the warrior forum because I was saving it for a WSO.

And if I was "struggling" for business like you... Why would I be offering free products?

Kudos at you Nerd Gary; i posted a thread last week asking for ecommerce mobile solutions as I had a client looking for it. I wished this came up beforehand.

Nevertheless I will do a good checking on it and the best thing its open source!

Oscommerce has a plugin that does mobile also. So they can have a regular and mobile site. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

This product looks shady at best.

Very basic, limited functionality and support, I would be VERY wary before installing this for any live project.

Looks like this project still has a long ways to go.
